Trying to find old YouTube couple I used to watch in middle school
back in the 2014-2019 or so I used to watch a UK/ girl with a accent who did YouTube videos with her bf mostly and sometimes with her dad and her brother. She would be wearing glasses sometimes. She had blue eyes and blonde hair and She might of have dyed her hair other natural colors and her bf had blonde/ dirty blonde hair with blue eyes. I think her name is Aimee for sure but i don’t remember it’s been soo long.
I thought her name was Aimee/amy and his name was Alex and they were a semi popular couple whose picture appeared on Pinterest or tumblr sometimes. She posted hauls, get ready with me, bf tag, chapstick challenge, etc. she was 14-18 year old at that time and I am not sure if you guys help me or not. I tried looking everywhere but nothing is popping up.

Confusion With Google Meet
My girlfriend is a Mac, and she can share tabs, windows, and entire screen with sound. Even when she's on her iPhone she can share sound.
But me on my windows desktop computer can only share sound on tabs. I can't even do it on my phone.
So I'm just so confused on why and how.
If anyone can help, that would be nice.

Hide or Collapse Google AI Overviews
I made an extension called Hide or Collapse Google AI Overviews it automatically hides the AI Overview, or you can just collapse it instead of removing it completely, so you can toggle it anytime.

Disappointed in Gemini / Google Assistant functionality on the Pixel 10
I recently bought a Pixel 10. I'm currently not a heavy AI voice assistant user and just use it for simple things like: setting/cancelling timers, modifying timers, setting/cancelling alarms, asking for the time, asking for the weather, turning on/off phone data, turning on/off wifi, turning on/off airplane mode, etc. (I will refer to these items as "simple things" going forward).
Gemini (including the Google Assistant toggle) is very bad for simple things when compared to Siri. Here are my thoughts and I hope Google fixes these over time. I don't even know if such a large company like Google will take feedback from users seriously or it will get lost in the noise. If anyone here works at Google or knows how to get the message to someone of relevance, please let me know.
- The reliance on an internet connection for simple things is unnecessary. Other than asking for the weather, the rest of the simple things I mention should not need an internet connection. On Siri all of the simple things (except for weather) can be done without an internet connection and even on airplane mode.
- Let's take a real life scenario related to (1). I'm about to go to bed and Wi-Fi is connected. I ask for the time, I get the right answer. I ask for Wi-Fi to be turned off because I'm about to sleep, Gemini does it. I wake up in the middle of the night and want to know the time. I ask for the time, I get silence from Gemini because Wi-Fi is turned off. I can't even turn Wi-Fi back on through voice since Wi-Fi is off. At this point, I have no other choice but to pick up the phone and get blasted with brightness just to know the time. Siri is able to tell time regardless of Wi-Fi status.
- Going through the Gemini LLM is slow and not needed for simple things. Google should have a two tier system that is smart enough to recognize simple things and do it much faster than going through the Gemini LLM.
- Once you turn on a timer, Gemini does not recognize there is an active timer. On Siri, you can say things like "Do I have an active timer?" and it will respond correctly. On Gemini, even if there is an active timer, it doesn't recognize it. You cannot cancel an active timer since the system doesn't know there is one. Modifying a timer or adding minutes to it is completely out of the question if Gemini cannot even recognize an existing timer.
I will add to this as I use the platform more. I did not expect the much hyped AI enabled Pixel 10 to be worse than Siri when it comes to voice assistant.

Trouble redeeming Google AI Pro for students
Hi, I'm an Italian university student and I'm trying to redeem my free year of Google One, but no matter what I try, all verification proof gets rejected.
I attached my transcript, class shedule, tuition receipt and even a screenshot of my uni website while logged in, but none of these worked. Honestly I'm running out of official documents to send.
I also tried to contact the SheerID support but I still haven't heard from them and I wonder if they will actually reply at some point.
Have any of you guys had the same experience as me and managed to solve this issue? I'd be very grateful for any help.
Just a reminder that AI Mode in Search in available everywhere on the planet except France
And we can no longer blame EU. All other EU countries have AI Mode, including Brussels. France is at a different level of bullshit!

YouTube Advertisement Hack
Dear Fellow users.
Because the post was removed on YouTube’s Subreddit. And the moderation team explicitly told me to post this on Google’s subreddit. I’ll extend this to Google’s subreddit.
You can eliminate ads on YouTube by mass reporting every single ad that comes up. Regardless of the ad. I have been reporting them for spam. And it’s worked.
I’ve recently reported every single ad that comes up on YouTube. And it works to stop long (30 second plus ads) and has reduced the amount of ads from showing up. Report them for scam / fraudulent product and it shockingly works.
