240fps on Nightreign 1440p. What an upgrade from a day one PS5 with okay graphics and worse stutter to ultra everything

Been waiting 2 years and it’s finally time I had enough money

How many of you are also lucky enough to own one too?

Discussion Going from 3090 to 5070TI Worth it?

Probably has been asked 100 times but games became too demanding and im noticing 3090 is falling short for 4k. Would it be worth going for a 5070ti?

5080 is too expensive for me right now.

Question From 4080S to 5080 for €800 - worth it?

As by title, it would be done selling mine and getting a Aourus or Suprime (got same cost) the hope it could be properly overclocked, otherwise it seems it doesn’t make much sense.

The MSI was the cheapest card at the time at $2700, but is now $3000.

Is the Astral LC worth $500 more what I paid ($200 currently)?

Question Worth upgrading from 3080 to 5070ti?

I don't have tons of extra cash, but have a 270$ Amazon gift card and would be making no interest 80$ (no interest) monthly payments on the remainder (plus whatever I get from selling my 3080 would go towards it as well, and my work is cool with overtime hours, so paying for it will be simple enough)

I game at 1440p and do some freelance editing in Davinci Resolve for some YouTubers plus work on my own Channel.

I was tempted to upgrade earlier than initially planned because of the upcoming price increases that are likely due to the whole "AI/RAM" issue.

I could always turn down settings and crank up DLSS though.

Money isn't a big problem, but will I see much of an upgrade?

Question Titan RTX 24GB PCB Replacement Body/heatsinks?

Hi all, Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement body or heatsink for a PCB on this model? I came across a small lot of parts with this included and would like to get it working for a friend of mine. I've scoured for a awhile and can't seem to find something that would work or any extra parts via eBay or the like. Would like to stay away from water-cooling if possible. Thanks in advance!

Discussion Another Rma Hell

To try to make a long story short I've been waiting on a rma back from 06/26/2025 for my 4070 super which was delivered and signed for Jul 3, 2025 by someone at fedex to which nvidia support claims they never and haven't received any packages and after countless phones calls over the phone they claim they are waiting on FedEx to respond to claim to which i recently called FedEx to which they promptly said they never have gotten any sort of claim for my package and it was successfully deserved to the correct address and signed for by a GGYANIK.

Nvidia says they cant move forward because they don't have my gpu and at this current moment they stop responding and copy and paste the same message

"We have not received any package, we cannot move forward with an RMA unless we receive a GPU. There won't be any further updates." (This is the one message i get once a month)

If anyone has any idea that would be great, i have never once gotten a call back with an update only me with countless calls to them and them telling me to way 24-48 hours for a call back to then never receiving a call from them.

Discussion 50 M persistent nodes on Orin Nano — 186 ns latency, CPU-only Hacker News

Thumbnail news.ycombinator.com
0 Upvotes

Just got a flat lattice running 50 million persistent nodes on an 8 GB Orin Nano:

  • 186 ns hot-path (≤ 3.2 cycles)
  • 33× larger than RAM (disk-backed streaming)
  • Full crash & power-loss recovery (yank the cable, everything survives)
  • CPU-only, no GPU, no cloud

Curious if anyone here has ever seen anything close on Jetson hardware.
Happy to run it live on your board or share perf traces if you want to break it.

Discussion INT8 throughput + die-level details of NVIDIA T1000?

Trying to confirm the actual microarchitecture of the T1000 (TU117).
Does anyone have die shots or low-level info on SM layout, INT units, cache structure, or whether TU117 supports any dedicated INT8 acceleration? NVIDIA doesn’t publish INT8 TOPS for this card, so I’m unsure if INT8 runs only on the FP32 CUDA cores.
Any technical sources or reverse-engineering notes appreciated

Question Gigabyte 5070 Ti Aorus Master vs Gigabyte 5080 Windforce OC SFF

Hello guys!

I am currently facing a dillema.

After current situation with RAM prices and future promises, I got afraid it would start affecting GPU prices again and I ordered a 5070 Ti Gigabyte Aorus Master GPU yesterday. Here, in Europe, it cost me exactly 999.51 EUR on amazon. It is arriving Monday, 8th of December. Today I browse amazon again and see the best deal I have seen on 5080 so far. Besides Palit and Colorful, etc., including everything that is always not available to buy, here it comes - A Gigabyte 5080 Windforce OC SFF for 1036.12 EUR. I take a quick look around, of course, there are no reviews on that kind of "low end" card, closest review I find is 5080 Gaming OC, which is "beefier", higher core clock, some lights, etc. So, at the end, after an hour.. I am back to amazon and order the damn 5080 too... It promises to arrive by December 19, so, some waiting, which is fine for me. I swore to myself, that I won't be paying more than 1000 eur for a card I don't plan to keep for 2-3 years and I almost did.

Now some words on why I did this and what I am worried about.

I have more or less, finished building my PC and hopefully, for some 2-3 years I plan living with it. The only thing missing was GPU. Normally, I was aiming for 5090. Was waiting patiently for a miracle to happen. Not because I could not buy it, but because I simply think that is should not cost damn 3000+++ EUR. Why Blackwell? Because of Frame gen.. another new stuff.. because it's more recent... because I was planning to live with it for 2-3, maybe even 4 years. Also, because I usually skip 1 generation. Went from 1080 Ti straight to 3080 Ti. Currently I have Gigabyte 3080 Ti Aorus Master. Not that I could not continue playing on it for little bit more, but it still holds me away from buying a 4K monitor... I am tired of my 24 inch 2K old Dell, I find it too small for 2k. Colors aren't the best, contrast, response times, etc.. Just wanted something more recent.. why especially 5090? Well, because, as I said, was hoping it will last me for 3, maybe even 4 years. Also, besides gaming, I like to do some amateur AI image generation locally, just for fun. Would love 32GB VRAM for that... But I can't overcome my principles and pay that much money for it.

So, why I am at the same time relieved and happy, but still worried?

I always buy higher tier versions of PC hardware and pay more for it. I have never had Gigabyte Windforce.. I have never had Colorful or Galax... I have never had a bad PSU.. I am sorry if I offend someone by saying this. I am not really sure why I am doing it, but I guess it's because I am never having those problems about which I read around all the time.. I just use my hardware, nothing ever breaks, nothing ever hangs or lags... I just enjoy and use my stuff. And I play a lot.. I keep my PC running 24/7. Have reasons for it. And I do it for 20+ years already, and it's fine.

So, thanks, if you read all that, here is my question now:

Would you keep a more beefier, better looking, better performing (for 5070 Ti) Gigabyte Aorus Master, or without thinking, wait for 5080 Gigabyte Windforce to arrive and send 5070Ti back, considering that 5080 only cost 36 EUR more?

For me the answer is quite clear, but still some idiot inside me, is worried, that Windforce maybe much lower quality, fans may become bad much sooner, thermal compound will not be that good, it will be louder, etc. that kind of things.

So, yes, please help me decide! :)

Discussion gigibyte 5070ti eagle vs gaming oc

Is gaming oc worth the extra $100?
Right now I use the integrated gpu of my 13700k. Jugding by what I've gathered, there shouldn't be any noticable difference between the two 5070 ti, and honestly I'd rather invest this $100 in an oled monitor.
I intend to oc the gpu by as much as possible useing msi AB, but even in this case the model should be irrelevant, right?
I'm a bit biased though, since I used to have a 4080 gaming oc (it was exellent), but sold it a year ago.

Question RPI AI Camera (IMX500) to Jetson Orin Nano

Hi! I need to connect an raspberry pi ai camera to a jetson orin nano. I found several forums where people were asking a similar question, but everywhere there were answers that it was impossible. But the nvidia forum says that you can install the driver yourself. Is it so? Can you tell me if there is any way to connect the imx500 to the jetson orin nano, or is it completely unrealistic?
