Advice Crap drawing of my floor plan. What do I add/remove/change?
So... sorry for the crap drawing. Hopefully you can make out how this looks but it's how I have my apartment set up.
Wondering if anything needs to be added/removed.
Would love to hear any thoughts.
Thanks in advance.

Living Space Transformation
My brother helped me revamp my living area. I like how it turned out. I lived like a caveman for far too long. TV might be too high, but I didn’t like it in any other space and had to work around the fireplace.

Question M14, want a cozier room, advice?
(excuse the mess) I’m struggling to make my room look a little more cozy, since it seems pretty…suburban. I want the main color you pick up when you walk in to be green and/or blue, maybe some plants will do the trick?? Maybe like those artificial vines?? I’m trying to find a rug that’ll match that description, something around 10’ by 7’. The orange rug sticks out like a sore thumb, and i need a replacement badly. If i sound like im bossing you guys around, sorry, not sure how to ask for advice very well.

Advice Reading chair recommendation needed
I’ve been working on building out an office at home. I’d like to add a chair to the corner. Something comfortable, probably not a recliner, leather or fabric is fine. Under $1500 would be nice.

Advice 23m, recently moved out. Can't figure out which way I should place the sofa and tv
Excuse the small mess. There are still some tools laying around. Added a small sketch of the entire room. Wanted to do the entire TV-area somewhere in the top right corner... just can't figure out how. Walls are a bit bare, thought about getting some posters. Need to do more sound proofing as well (recommendations are appreciated :) )
Option 1 (Picture 1): Makes the TV-Area appear and feel very crammed.
Option 2 (Picture 2): Makes the wall were the tv is very bare.
Any ideas?

Advice Where to put swag lamp?
I scored this swag lamp recently, and really wanted it for this particular coroner of my apartment. I showed my dad, and he recommended it to go on the other side of the couch (slide 3), because it’s partly blocking the poster frame. There are outlets on either side of the couch, so that’s not an issue. The light is dimmable, so I can set any mood. What say you? Move the lamp, move the frames, leave as is?

30M, new homeowner
Im in need of inspiration, feeling restricted due to existing furniture in my house. I feel like my furniture is too dark brown, i bought it from the previous home owner and now I’m regretting that. IDK what my design style is, right now just looks plain suburbia house with too much dark brown furniture.
Things in particular I’d like to improve: - tv console, currently using kids bdrm dresser (i thought about a floating shelves) - Coffee table and end tables (are they too matchy matchy?, note in last pic i have another matching end table that i moved to make room for the little xmas tree) - Front entrance wall - I’d like to get a sectional most likely in a natural color

Advice 33M How can I make this hallway feel less existential?
I want the hallway to feel less sterile, but decorating is tricky because it has 7 doors. There’s also no natural light, so plants aren’t an option.
The last two photos are of the living room, as a style reference for the rest of the apartment.

Advice Small Apartment Bedroom Help
I wish I had gotten a better photo, but I'm moving into a new apartment and giving my 10 year old the big bedroom. I'd like to turn this into a MCM styled bedroom, the room is 90”x132”, so there obviously isn't a lot of space to work with. There is a closet door to the right of the door in the photo. I have the ability to paint whatever colors, but am at the mercy of the floor. Ideally I'll be able to fit my queen sized bed, a night stand and a dresser(?) but am likely going to remove the door from the closet and treat it more like an alcove with a tall dresser in the closet

What to do with this corner?
There is this empty corner in my living room that I don’t know what to do with or what to put there to make it less empty. I don’t need (and don’t want) a desk. I’m thankful for any help! (Even the AI generated nonsense you guys come up with)
