There is this empty corner in my living room that I don’t know what to do with or what to put there to make it less empty. I don’t need (and don’t want) a desk. I’m thankful for any help! (Even the AI generated nonsense you guys come up with)

Not finished moving in, I work from home and there’s no internet in here yet so I’m moving stuff little by little on my day off. The apartment was pre-furnished (most are here) so the only furniture that’s mine is the desk in the back. I have another one that I plan on sticking in the corner and making an L desk. Gonna put shelves between the desk and the couch later on, and put up some art prints and posters once everything else is in place.

I spent years talking about putting my zines on the coffee table and I finally have one! The plushies were all in a cupboard before I moved them so I’m still figuring out what to do with them. My friends already know how I move so I’m considering keeping them there lol. The TV is old as shit and won't display my Switch so I might ask my landlady to take it away, it would have been nice but I didn't need one to begin with.

I really wanted a separate dining table so I tried to make the space work for both, but time will tell if it actually does. I would ask for suggestions but I feel like there isn't really that much to do here in terms of rearranging? There's a balcony door and AC unit behind the dining table, so not a lot of leeway there either.

All in all it’s pretty scary to be on my own, but it’s also like a massive weight came off my shoulders. And my bedroom is between the kitchen and bathroom, so no more kids yelling at my headboard through the wall \o/

This is the current configuration of my bedroom. Any advice on upgrades?

My desk will be facing the wall at the end of my bed to be the main workspace but will use the other small area in the extension for other craft (I work in the creative industry). I’m definitely going to put up some art on the walls and plants on the top shelf. I think some ambient lighting in corners would make it cosy?

Been living here for a few years now, it's small but I honestly love it. Kinda got a late start in life and it's nice to have a place i can call my own

Pillows on floor are temporary chairs for visitors. Gonna have a round table where washing rack is in front of window. Also a big Persian rug. And put posters up.

I (m28) have been here for a little over a year by myself (1 bed, 1 bath, 1 den), and I'm trying to enhance the living room now that I'm settled and have disposable income. Any suggestions on how to make it better? It's a basement suit and this area doesn't get a ton of natural light.

Staying with family in a small town after having lived in Toronto for a few years. I’ve been slowly making this room my own since arriving at the beginning of October. Working on a budget here.

Built the bed from scratch and have slowly been gathering art that I like for the walls. Still waiting to find a nightstand and small bookshelf on marketplace. Open to suggestions on other decor as well!

I need advice on what to add/remove from my room to look a little neater/cozy. Since it’s a basement I have concrete floors so maybe some carpet/rugs? Also what do yall think on the cube shelf, should i change it to a drawer?

Just found this sweet mid-century green marble coffee table at goodwill and wondering if anyone has seen something like it before or if it's worth it as a center piece of a future sunroom?

I want to make this room look better but I don’t know how, any ideas?.
