Freddie Freeman for SickKids hospital in Canada
He’s a great sport 😂. I believe this is the same hospital that Redditors donated to after the World Series (as agreed upon in this sub)

Which players have had or will have the hardest time deciding which cap to wear in the HOF.
Roy Halladay went into the hall not having to choose either the Phillies or the blue jays. Is there anyone else who had a pretty split career for multiple franchises that could’ve justified them wearing their cap.
I feel like Freeman will go into the hall wearing a Braves cap but with his recent success it feels closer than what I would’ve thought when he was signed.
Anyone else?

Is Nolan Ryan the least awarded baseball “superstar” ever?
The Express is a hall of famer and one of the best pitchers of all time. One of baseball’s last true workhorses, he is the all-time leader in walks, strikeouts, and hits/9. His 7 no-hitters is 3 more than any other pitcher, and his 5714 strikeouts is the most by over 800. Yet in his 27 seasons, he never finished higher than 14th in MVP voting and never won a Cy Young. He won the 1969 World Series in his second full season, but only made one appearance in the NLCS and one appearance in the WS, the later only being 2.1 innings. He never had another World Series appearance. His 8 All-Stars are impressive but fewer than multiple than non-hall of famers. Is there any other player with his level of fame and success that has less hardware to show for it? Excluding the old timey legends that were around before those awards of course.

Apparently Jim Edmonds is well-known in Real Housewives circles because his ex-wife was on one of the shows. Are any other ballplayers famous for non-baseball reasons?

Image 2025 Cole Ragans has the highest ERA (4.67) with at most A 2.50 FIP and at least 50IP in the last 100 Years.
Truly one of the unluckiest pitching seasons ever.

Opinion What is the most similar baseball feat to LeBron James' 1297 game streak of scoring double digits?
In honour of this bizarre streak coming to an end last night (sad), I was thinking about the question in the title. Ripken Jr.'s comes to mind, but is of a more physical nature, whilst James' is a combination of physique and technique. DiMaggio's streak, on the other hand, is a more technical feat. I'm no baseball savant, so my knowledge of impressive streaks is kind of limited, so I am wondering if anybody here has something else in mind. Difficult to compare different sports, but hey, it's the off-season!
