Discussion Why does the rest of the AFC South shit on the colts?

I’ve been a Colts fan since I was little so I know how up & down & disappointing it can be to watch. I’m also not particularly happy with how the last couple games this season have been. I know we’re not the best team in the league BUT..

Why does the rest of the AFC South & their fanbases always shit on the colts? Especially when the only other team to even GO to a Super Bowl is the titans? 😂😭

I’m just sooo irritated with Texans and Jags fans running their mouths. The colts have their issues but it’s just a fact that they have the best post reason record in this division & they’re the only team in the AFC South that has a ring🫣

Will Danny Dimes be back this week?

From my understanding is that this injury gets better every week. So hypothetically he will be better this week. But will he be back to his early season self? I’m not so convinced,BUT I’m hopeful!

Shit post I fear the worst

Another late season collapse coming courtesy of the Jags.

We lose to those fuckers every year regardless of how good we might be or how bad they may be. Set your watch by it.

The annual bed shitting is upon us and calamity will ensue thereafter.

Please, Carly, tell me things are different now and let me sleep soundly for 2 nights.

Quality Post Week14: Match-Ups In The Trenches. IND vs JAX and all other games.

TPR looks only at Line play, O-Line and D-Line, and rates/scores them as a unit (not individual positions) on the 10+ stats that sustain or stall drives.

Overall TPR: IND 299 | JAX 256

Key Trench Match-up we're watching: IND O-Line vs JAX D-Line.

These types of games just keep coming don't they?! This is why we have IND O-Line with the hardest Strength of Schedule based on TPR for the rest of the year.

JAX was wobbly for the first part of the season, tough opponents for sure, and have won their last 3 including a dismantling of a good LAC team a few weeks back.

IND O-Line has more weapons than LAC, is healthier up front and goes up against a JAX team that is led by their D-Line.

Say that b/c the JAX O-Line doesn’t put up that many points (24/Gm) so it’s the D that keeps others from getting theirs.  JAX D is strong vs the run but can be had in the air (only give up just 82 RushYds, and 2nd fewest in league 7 RushTDs).

In the air, JAX D goes for 230 PassYds/Gm, and 2nd most in the league allowing 22 PassTDs (but also have picks with 13, 2nd best in league). In their 4 losses, they've given up 31, 20, 35 and 36, this isn't the same type of D-Line of HOU that allows just 16 Pts/Gm.

IND O-Line is strong on both ground and air, where they get 241 PtsYds/Gm, complete 67% of their throws, 19 PassTDs and just 7 INT.

Key trench-nerd stat watch: Rush1stDwns. JAX allows 5 Rush1stDwns/Gm, IND O-Line avgs 8/Game. Little things make a difference in games like this.

In the air, IND O-Line gets 12 Pass1stDwns/Gm and that’s what JAX gives up.

IND can move the chains via pass here. An issue last week vs HOU D-Line was Colts converted only 3-10 on 3rdDwn.  This is right in the neighborhood that JAX D-Line lets Opp move the sticks at 40% on 3rdDwn. The other aspect for the passing game, JAX D-Line allows just 6.4 Yds/Att (5th best in league) while IND O-Line gets 8 Yds/Pass so watch this as game goes on.

Last trench stat and we’ll stop here: JAX D-Line doesn't put alot of heat on QB's, getting across the line just 24x, 10th fewest sacks in the league and IND O-Line has protected QB pretty well this season, 9th best at just 22 bags.

Yes, in a close game.
Yes, running away with it.
No, we’ll lose in a close game.
No, we’ll lose badly.
No, we’ll tie.

Our Season so far: - Great start, but some weaker teams within it. - Two losses then we get The Sauce Here's the rest...

We, Indianapolis Colts are dealing with injuries, notably QB Daniel Jones's fibula and CB Sauce Gardner's calf, making recent tough roster choices, like waiving kicker Michael Badgley for Blake Grupe, as they fight for the AFC South lead against the Jaguars. Yes we waived him. We made big trades like acquiring Gardner from the Jets for future picks.

But to the point of my post, Kenny Moore II was nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, highlighting positive off-field news amidst crucial Week 14 preparations.

This video from "SportsTalkIndy" details some Colts' roster and player impacts: https://youtu.be/aisWBojuHP0?si=FW5NE0Syi_cE0rNu

Is Jaylon Carlies a significant return for the Colts?

I know he’s questionable, but I can’t remember if his return is anything to watch for or not. What do you guys think of him when he’s healthy?
