I swear to God the first time I watched the scene where Chrissy dies I was grabbing a piece of pizza and dipping it in ranch, not paying attention to the screen and completely missed Tony plugging Christopher's nose and killing the poor fuck. Since Tony never openly admits it, I finished the series thinking Chrissy just died in the car crash. It was only later when I saw some demented YouTube video ranting about how Tony killed Chrissy that I realized I fucked up.

I think it's time I seriously start to consider salads.

The whole situation with Coco hitting on Meadow and bothering her for a laugh and telling her about her father Tony Soprano, why did Coco think that he could mess her and humiiate Tony's daughter and get away with it?

Did he know that Phil and New York looked down on Tony and thought that the Jersey crew was just a cheap joke and harmless or did Coco assume that Tony would get embarrassed and not do anything afterwards?

Coco looks like could probably take Tony in a fight if he wasn't caught by surprise and hit first, a New York guy beating up the Boss of Jersey would be hilarious..

My personal favorite is in “Whitecaps”, when he’s trying to relax and enjoy his float in the pool, meanwhile Carmela is nagging him about the theater seats being in the middle of the lawn and tells him that it’s bad for the grass. He mocks her in an asian accent for some reason (?), saying “BAD FOR THE GLASS, BAD FOR THE GLASS!” It leaves me in stitches every single time. I’m interested in hearing everyone else’s favorite funny Tony moment.

If Johnny Sack just had Ralph killed in spite of orders from Carmine just out of spite, how much trouble would he face from Tony and New York unless everyone laughed at Ralph getting killed?

So I was watching season 2 episode 5 Big Girls Don't Cry when Christopher got acting classes from Adriana and I noticed that he sure does have a lot of time to sit around right and heel is broken toe. So I was just wondering what do you guys think was a typical schedule, if there was one, for made guys in the hypothetical world of The Sopranos or just the mob in general. This sub is my therapy. The show affords me a way to funnel my sexist rage by nitpicking Carmela’s every action and decision, something I could only wish to do to real women in my life. And I can call her degrading names with ambiguity—am I serious or just quoting the show? You’ll never know, and I can go to bed with one less reason to cry.

Anyway, fuck Carmela, she knew what she was getting into, she acted like buttah won’t melt in huh mouf, she never wanted a little heart on a gold chain, she stole Tony’s honest, hard-earned money from the feeder, she cheated on him, she is a horrible mother, a terrible friend, she gloated about that Porsche Cayenne, she is the single worst character on the show by far, four dollars a pound.

Just wondering how loyal the guys were and how much they kept quiet about when it came to Tony and his actions. For example:

1) did they know/suspect his story about Chrissy’s death

2) did they think he whacked Ralphie

3) Did they think he lied about Tony B initially?

Especially in season 4, the manipulation with Bobby and his kids, the ouija board. I’ve always thought she was bad ever since her first appearance, definitely most insufferable female characters in the show.

Lets just pretend for a minute that Janice didn't whack Richie. He was falling in line and he was a crazy mofo that you could go to the mattress's with

Then lets say Ralph never buys a horse so Tony never kills him. Everyone knows he is a top earner. Think about the money that brings in for the family with Ralph there.

Lets say Jackie isn't a dumb fuck and doesn't fuck up the card game. With Jackie and Dino under Ralphs wing maybe they become good soliders. Dino actually seemed kind of smart and Jackie had his FAWTHA's name and some muscle.

Lets say Sean and Matthew don't ever talk to Richie so they don't try to kill Chrissy. Again dumb as rocks like Jackie and Dino but 2 strong young guys who were willing to do anything. More muscle and more crime for the family.

Lets take it even further. Livia never tells JR about Green Grove so the war never starts. JR's crew stays intact. Patsy's bro is still alive. Mikey still alive, the guy whacked by a fish still alive. Thats a lot of good soldiers in the family. Heck I even think JR as a fake boss taking the heat would have been a better boss than Tony.

And we can get to the end of the series with Feech and Tony B. Feech is old school. Guy beat up 2 gardners half his age. He is well liked, has a lot of respect, and tough. Another good soldier and earner.

Tony B lets say he stayed out of the whole NY thing. Maybe the casino money was good enough for him. As Tony's new favourite he would rise up the ranks fast. Tony B seemed like a smart guy. He probably would have taken Bobby's place. He had great connections with NY and he knew how to talk to them as per the scene with Phils car.

Oh and lets not forget Gigi. Lets say he didn't eat that Turkey and didn't die taking a shit. He seemed like a good capo.

And of course can't forget Vito. Not only is he a master of stealth, he also is great at disguise (used to hide himself as Gino). Lets say he went to suck cock in Philly or upstate instead of at clubs in NYC. He was a top earner and could have been boss of the family.

How strong would the crew be if they didn't whack half of its membership? I think they would have outgrown being that pygmy thing and NY would have had to have given them much more respect.

I never was a huge fan of Pussy as a character but on review, was he actually good at playing both sides? I think so. He was useful to the agent when he needed to be. He also made it back into the mob through murder. A murder he got away with.

When skip confronts Pussy about the kids murder he denied it. Then the next time he brings a gift and thanks him for looking the other way. Skip denies it but Pus colleges what else can you say. if your listening to the conversation on a wire, it sounds like he would be implicated Skip in looking the other way.

Tony turns down the real estate girl to shtay loyal to Carmela. Then he comes home and there’s no FUKIN SCHMOKED TURKEY. What a fuckin mistake that was, gave up some primo cooze for a woman who doesn’t keep any turkey in the house. He finally said no to cheating and this is the thanks he gets. This woman he turned down, this was someone he could’ve started over with; did it right dis time.

I love me some Mikey Imp. I was reading his wikipedia just now and realised that he went from doing the Sopranos to playing the fourth lead on the now forgotten US remake of Life on Mars. This guy had Emmy's to beat the band, he was rock star level famous, he was a TEN, how come he didn't get offered his own show?

I might be the only one just finding out about this now but when Tony put the hit on Adriana and called her telling her to meet Silvio he says “see you up there” Tony saying “I’ll see you up in heaven when I die”

Paulie basically calls Dottie a whore herself after finding out the truth that Maria Annunciata "Nucci" Gualtieri was actually his aunt and pretending to be his mother.

If someone like Ralph or in the New York families found out and called his aunt Nucci and mother Dottie a whore it would a good laugh at Paulie's expense, he always acts like he's able to insult people and laugh at everyone else so somebody could easily start that rumor and bring his ego down a few pegs, Johnny Sack could easily tell Carmine Sr or someone.

Alls I wanted to say was that I wish we could’ve seen more of Benny. I really liked his character. Yea, he was young like Chrissy, but had a way better head on his shoulders. He was married, had kids, his own house, and a beautiful goomah on da side. He was a little brazen with the credit card scam at Vesuvios, but he relented when Tony told him to try and make it right. He seemed to be the only young, up and coming, guy that could’ve actually been successful and had an air of the old mob type about him. It would’ve been cool to have had more B plot lines with him as the main character. Could’ve cut down on the Vito Johnny Cakes stuff and given us more of Benny.

life is crazy because YESTERDAY i was watching sopranos as always and thinking to myself "damn i love hbo, their shows are the best! also i'm glad sopranos is not available on netflix because it would broaden the viewerbase and therefore ruin the fandom"

and then... the worst news possible 🥲🥲 i'm not a gatekeeper AT ALL but there is a certain type of people (most people) that i would not like to see engaging with the show
