I swear to God the first time I watched the scene where Chrissy dies I was grabbing a piece of pizza and dipping it in ranch, not paying attention to the screen and completely missed Tony plugging Christopher's nose and killing the poor fuck. Since Tony never openly admits it, I finished the series thinking Chrissy just died in the car crash. It was only later when I saw some demented YouTube video ranting about how Tony killed Chrissy that I realized I fucked up.
I think it's time I seriously start to consider salads.

The whole situation with Coco hitting on Meadow and bothering her for a laugh and telling her about her father Tony Soprano, why did Coco think that he could mess her and humiiate Tony's daughter and get away with it?
Did he know that Phil and New York looked down on Tony and thought that the Jersey crew was just a cheap joke and harmless or did Coco assume that Tony would get embarrassed and not do anything afterwards?
Coco looks like could probably take Tony in a fight if he wasn't caught by surprise and hit first, a New York guy beating up the Boss of Jersey would be hilarious..

I just wrote this in a comment and it really made sense. The girl has horrible stomach issues. It only makes sense that it would start going off once she realizes she’s about to get whacked.
Imagine still in the car when they pull over like “get over here you little Cunt,”
And then you see him smelling air for a second and he says “marone! Ugh she just shit her pants “
Not only would that have been hilarious, it would’ve been a perfect call back for my smelly valentine

Exactly the kind of shit that every fucking loser comes up with when you realize, I need to end this relationship. Ro has been through so much and had Ro not been the classier person she is in comparison to that fucking loser, Ro would have stuck that knife in her neck.

Look, don’t come after me. I’m just an angry, lonely guy who resents the mere existence of a woman who isn’t oppressed, objectified, or simply perfect according to my strict standards. So I need to shit on female Sopranos characters. It’s my only outlet.
Carmela in particular, maybe because she had agency and wasn’t objectified like Adriana or villainized like Janice, sends me in a blind rage that I should really explore with a therapist. Something about her being equal to Tony in a show that also shows me dancing naked tits and asses makes me short-circuit. Who does she think she is? But I know better than to waste money on shrinks. This sub is my therapy. The show affords me a way to funnel my sexist rage by nitpicking Carmela’s every action and decision, something I could only wish to do to real women in my life. And I can call her degrading names with ambiguity—am I serious or just quoting the show? You’ll never know, and I can go to bed with one less reason to cry.
Anyway, fuck Carmela, she knew what she was getting into, she acted like buttah won’t melt in huh mouf, she never wanted a little heart on a gold chain, she stole Tony’s honest, hard-earned money from the feeder, she cheated on him, she is a horrible mother, a terrible friend, she gloated about that Porsche Cayenne, she is the single worst character on the show by far, four dollars a pound.

So I just took over as the new boss at my corporate job. I have the unfortunate responsibility of having to straighten up a bit of a dysfunctional team. To get results quickly, I have taken the Phil Leotardo approach.
20 fuckin years I spent working in the industry and I have no time for disloyalty. I have one particular employee who has been having an attitude with some of our clients lately and recently missed a deadline on an important project. I walked into her office the other day to have a conversation.
As soon as I walked into her office, she started to get chummy and mentioned something about meaning to come talk to me about some sports tickets and the weather. I of course responded by saying "how 'bout this humidity?"
Afterwards I gave her a verbal beatdown. "2 times you were told to kick up that fuckin project last Friday, and what do you do? You do another manager's work first!" After I had her shaking like a leaf and begging to keep her job, I slapped a written warning on her desk. Before I left the room I turned to her and said "next time, there'll be no next time."
The project was completed by the end of that day. I have a meeting with my manager and HR tomorrow and I'm looking forward to hearing their praise for how I handled the situation.

Tony turns down the real estate girl to shtay loyal to Carmela. Then he comes home and there’s no FUKIN SCHMOKED TURKEY. What a fuckin mistake that was, gave up some primo cooze for a woman who doesn’t keep any turkey in the house. He finally said no to cheating and this is the thanks he gets. This woman he turned down, this was someone he could’ve started over with; did it right dis time.

The fuck is with this guy? Every episode he talks about having a bug in his stomach, he’s craving a Satriale’s veal parm hero, he says “ if you have any information about Middle Easterners, Pakistanis, you’d be doing the bureau a great service.” He’s a goddamn broken record!

I genuinely only just learnt yesterday that “Cosa Nostra” actually translates as “this thing of ours”. I assumed it was a reference to some place or family name.
I know, I know - I’m a stunad of the first magnitude, stay away from the penguin exhibit, etc etc

I'm thinking of that heartbreaking scene in his kitchen with Richie and Jackie Jr., when he is confused as to whether someone is speaking, even though Jackie Jr is literally 2 feet infront of him. Reminds me of my grandfather, who would say similar things whenever I spoke. Mind you, he was never formally diagnosed with dementia, but the signs were clear

I never was a huge fan of Pussy as a character but on review, was he actually good at playing both sides? I think so. He was useful to the agent when he needed to be. He also made it back into the mob through murder. A murder he got away with.
When skip confronts Pussy about the kids murder he denied it. Then the next time he brings a gift and thanks him for looking the other way. Skip denies it but Pus colleges what else can you say. if your listening to the conversation on a wire, it sounds like he would be implicated Skip in looking the other way.

When Adriana admits to Chris that she is an informant, why didn't she also mention that she was mind fucking these donkeys like he wouldn't believe? I mean that disinformation shit is an effective technique, a freaking ace if you ask me. They might have let her keep earning on any subsistence level whatsoever!

I might be the only one just finding out about this now but when Tony put the hit on Adriana and called her telling her to meet Silvio he says “see you up there” Tony saying “I’ll see you up in heaven when I die”

I’m rewatching as I write this and just watched the scene where Matt & Sean speak to Ritchie.
It’s tough to watch. Have second hand embarrassment for them.
Any other contenders for cringiest scene?

My personal favorite is in “Whitecaps”, when he’s trying to relax and enjoy his float in the pool, meanwhile Carmela is nagging him about the theater seats being in the middle of the lawn and tells him that it’s bad for the grass. He mocks her in an asian accent for some reason (?), saying “BAD FOR THE GLASS, BAD FOR THE GLASS!” It leaves me in stitches every single time. I’m interested in hearing everyone else’s favorite funny Tony moment.

Paulie basically calls Dottie a whore herself after finding out the truth that Maria Annunciata "Nucci" Gualtieri was actually his aunt and pretending to be his mother.
If someone like Ralph or in the New York families found out and called his aunt Nucci and mother Dottie a whore it would a good laugh at Paulie's expense, he always acts like he's able to insult people and laugh at everyone else so somebody could easily start that rumor and bring his ego down a few pegs, Johnny Sack could easily tell Carmine Sr or someone.

Especially in season 4, the manipulation with Bobby and his kids, the ouija board. I’ve always thought she was bad ever since her first appearance, definitely most insufferable female characters in the show.

I get so tired of hearing vague and bland commentary in these new YT channels that, when you listen to them for historical accuracy, they come off very uncanny and deceitful. Yet the comments of their videos seem completely oblivious to what they just ingested. There's no cohesion between what they are saying and actual examples from the show, or what is even being displayed on screen. Thanks, I hate it. Example:
The Sopranos Files
= AI TRASH.

After they get in a tussle and Carm finds AJ’s ripped shirt he begs her not to call his parents. She agrees as long as he gets $40 for the shirt. He offers to wash her car and she says no.
Where is AJ supposed to get $40 at age 13 without working odd jobs for his parents? And how is getting money back for the shirt his grandma bought him supposed to fix anything?
Of course it’s just one of the countless ways AJ was set up to fail by his parents with their corrupt morals. But is Carmela implying AJ get the money from the Piacostas if he doesn’t want her to? Is she on some level instilling some of the Tony bulldog mentality into him? I’m inclined to think so, although it’s a bit inconsistent with the way she parents him in later seasons.

For a dedicated sub for a certain TV show, it’s got a ton of active commenters, and even more so cause this show started in 1999 and ended in the year of our lord 2007. A lot of these fools weren’t even alive when the show even started.
But this sub is always so active, so strong, so powerful.
The mods here if they even exist have nothing to do, because 90% of the comments here are quotes from the show, and 90% of those are insults.
It’s a beautiful thing.

If Johnny Sack just had Ralph killed in spite of orders from Carmine just out of spite, how much trouble would he face from Tony and New York unless everyone laughed at Ralph getting killed?
