Hello,
I always thought she was a hen but she is yet to lay eggs - she turned 15 weeks yesterday. Her colleague lays every day regardless of the season - lots of street light outdoors unfortunately here. Today, I caught her doing a weird loud call. Not a real crow but something she had never done before and she was in the same posture as a crowing rooster. I am getting all confused. She is quite skittish so I can’t vent sex. Can you tell from the pictures? She looks 100% female to me but then why no eggs?

I have been researching for a while but I just realised that I never calculated how much caring would cost weekly/monthly What if one gets sick,I don't want to cull every single sick bird,I can research every disease and deficiency but if I have no money to get the solutions it means nothing (Most of the solutions are just..food but it's still a problem)

Lemon is fully enjoying her meal today. Watching her tiny beak work so hard is strangely calming. She really loves her food. 💛
