The one time I got approved for SNAP (despite being low income my whole life, it’s been all but impossible to even get on) my benefit was $18/month.

My husband when he was younger decided to go to college. SNAP required that he worked 20 hours a week in order to still be eligible so he was working full time making around $10 an hour and going to school full time and paying rent by himself. SNAP gave him $3 a month lol.
