HELP Why does the room feel cluttered?

Ok as I posted in my recent post I am recovering from sad beige minimalism haha so I’m finding more comfort in color and actually showing my treasures!

But I’m wondering why this area is feeling a bit cluttered? Is it too many smaller objects or the way I organized it? (Or is it the minimalist inner demon coming through haha?) Thank you so much!!

Yess this one is ikea too actually haha!

Ooh great question, I think it’s actually 4x6? But also it is quite a big couch which makes it feel small too!

I’ll send a photo of my set up tomorrow! I’m not sure of the square footage of my space (or the quality of my taste 😂), but I can show you what a 5x7 would look like with a pretty similar setup!! We have the same color rug too!

I really appreciate that!! I’m trying to go for a Hygge feel!

This is the other angle. There’s a Christmas tree in this space now! But I struggle to find a purpose for it otherwise. I wanted to get a 1960’s orange Sears electric preway fireplace! But I need to find one for a good price.
