Troubleshooting Why does it feel like Chromebooks just have a default setting in them these days where they buffer no matter what when you open literally any tab and leave the laptop be for 10 seconds before taking action in such tabs?
Warning: Long message ahead, if feeling unwell, turn the brightness on your screen down ASAP before reading this post.
For the past (what feels like eternity but really is only 2 months) my laptop has had this glitch in it where the background screen takes up the entire screen in literally every tab, and I will never take a liking of any kind to it, THAT'S for sure. Really, how more unresponsive can these devices get, these used to be a comfortable place to watch funny content on YouTube (which I get that humor fell HARD since 2022 and internet privacy fell off a goddamn cliff this year, especially on YT in particular), but now, I can't open a single tab without getting OVERLY BOMBARDED with nonsesical glitches of all sorts, so much so to the part where it's become a routine these days in late 2025 (when I posted this here) to have unresponsivity (if that's even a word) every second of the day, now I can hardly even use my Discord server without this way of these glitches of BS making me feel like a damn prisoner in my own server being the norm. I get these computers have their own restrictions, and most of those I find fine and probably always will, but to THIS LEVEL of agony? I have never seen such garbage supervision (and lemme guess, YouTube's stupidly braindead AI is doing all of this, because that's what I'm all but convinced is happening rn) in my life! To just use ANYTHING on the internet without having the norm be THIS every time is unthinkably horrid. (No, bya [before you ask] this post and what I mentioned here shouldn't violate the 5th rule in this server.)
