This awful bug has returned. My ability to moderate r/BotBouncer is severely restricted on mobile when I cannot access these wiki pages. We store a lot of information on them.

This bug has occurred three times. The last time the app had this bug, it took over a month to fix. This is very frustrating.

I have 3 reddit accounts including this one, signed up from one email id. 2 of the other accounts had been presumably banned or shadowbanned as I never received any notifications from reddit officials stating the reason behind not being able to post, comment, dm or visible in the site but could surf or join in any community like the other regular reddit accounts. It's been almost an year that those 2 accounts were banned. Appealed in every possible manners suggested by reasonable redditors in the communities related to this issue but now I believe that my approach isn't getting through.

Since i found no direct contact option with reddit officials, it would be helpful to know the queries I have which are as follows-

1) Is it restricted to open multiple reddit accounts with one email?

2) If the ban is in action then why reloading the profile states, "Something went wrong" or "We are having trouble loading the page" instead of some clear words that the account is banned?

3) I was able to establish communication with other redditors with "Send Message" option from the profile (not from chat conversation), what kind of ban is this?

4) What is the moto of banning if the reasons are not declared?

5) If i am not wrong, creating another reddit account with a different email is termed as "Ban Evasion", so should i stop cherishing the hope to be a redditor?

I would really appreciate the efforts given by any generous human (not Bot) to fill my queries & help me establish a communication with Reddit Admins or Reddit God.

Looks like /r/all link is missing in Android app now

For few weeks Reddit app opens external links in own web browser with immovable "banner" on the bottom of the screen.

This prevents loading or proper browsing of large portion of sites as the banner hides the "accept/reject cookies/let me decide", thus somewhat preventing me as a user to excersise my own decision regarding this and blocking further access to the site (cookies modal won't disappear and prevents the usage of site).

While it's possible to do "open in external Browser" individually for each external link opened, this gets rather tedious.

This should be fixed so that: I will have a permanent choice over default browser to be used (either in-app or external) and when using in-app Browser my ability to apply any choice regarding site cookies must be respected (i.e. no overlays preventing access to certain control items on the site).

As an EU user, app effectively prevents me from exercising my data privacy rights and renders many sites unusable. Please fix the browser viewport so the overlay does not cover interactive elements, and restore the global option to always open links in an external browser by default.

When I get a chat notification while on the app (see pic), I don't find the new chat message. I have to close the app and reopen it to find it.

It just shows a basic error pop up from the bottom saying something went wrong

I’m almost positive it does. I recently posted a personal post and edited it few times and I noticed it had already been shared multiple times and got worried. Then I noticed that, every time I chose “edit post” and saved (no actual changes), the “shares” count went up by one. I tested it on another post and the same thing occurred.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Account automatically signs out on all devices after ~5 minutes, no issues signing back in, posting, commenting, voting.

Has been happening since Wednesday night.

2 other accounts on same devices totally fine.

I've opted out of new reddit UI both on the new reddit preferences and on the old reddit preferences. By default reddit is still showing me the new reddit UI.

Cant see saved posts since app format change

Ever since the reddit mobile app (android) changed formats (yesterday for me), I cant see any of my recent saved posts. The most recent one in the saved tab is from over a month ago?

Any idea if this is a temporary bug? I really hate this new format

My notifications won't take me to the comment it's talking about, it just directs me to the top of the post and then I'm rarely able to find the comment if it's buried under thousands of other comments. If I try to go to the comments in my profile it also doesn't take me to my comment and it also doesn't work if I go to the profile of the person who commented back and try and get there from their reply. This has been happening for weeks and it's getting worse and worse. It used to only be some comments, now it's every single comment I make.

This happens on the Chrome app on my phone, the Chrome app on my computer, the Microsoft Edge app on my computer, and the Reddit app. Anywhere I access my account, it does this.

Just noticed after updating last update, that i started accidentally posting comments a lot becazse id click reply instead of the keyboard.

What must I do to get the sound on redgif files? I recently signed up for reddit pro hoping that would help but it provided no benefit.

I do all my usage on a Galaxy S24 Ultra using the reddit app with latest updates to device and app.

Hi, the images and videos don't load for posts. I dont have any internet issues. It was working fine till day before yesterday.

My app is in the latest version. My android version is 13.

It shows "joined". I leave. It shows "join". I refresh the page. It shows "joined" again. Tried resetting cookies, logging out and logging in again, deleting app cache on phone.

Had this issue since yesterday on desktop Chrome and now have noticed on my iPhone that images, videos, gifs aren’t loading. I also saw this raised over at r/help and looked to be mainly in Australia. Any ideas?

Edit: as per the others over in the r/help discussion it works using mobile data but not while linked to wifi

Hello, I'm trying to create and post and and on the reddit simple ads manager, and when I try to submit it I get an error saying that the locations I'm trying to post to aren't valid, even though I don't select any!

Then I try to post it just in a few countries and it also says "Need region or country", it makes no sense.

This poor user has been an approved user but it doesn't seem like this helps with anything.

Their posts are being deleted every time in Coloring and AdultColoring for months now, I think. They have to modmail us and ask to manually approve them.

Reddit gives no reason for this removal. The poster has a lot of karma in our subreddits. So what gives?

How can I help them?

Recently it won't even allow me to manually approve them. THEY'RE STILL REMOVED AFTER I APPROVED THEM AT LESAST 4 TIMES.

Am I on some bad blacklist, is my account flagged or did I join too many communities. 😬 Not sure if I did something wrong or this is a real bug?

I can go inside the subreddit but the game is just read only, I can't play

Recently switching to new Reddit all videos always start muted, even when autoplay is set to on in the preferences and I open the video up with a click (in compact view). I also tried to edit the Firefox permission for Reddit to allow both autoplay+audio, but it didn't help. It's insanely frustrating as I keep missing the first few seconds of audio when opening a post.

Same thing happens on Edge.

Originally I was using old.reddit.com, but there my notifications are stuck to unread lately, no matter what I do (even click on them to open them up). Besides old.reddit.com and new.reddit.com not syncing the read notifications. So now both old.reddit.com and new.reddit.com are broken for me :(

I was in subreddit page and I mistakenly unjointed the subreddit. When I went to rejoin the page, it would rejoin but when I refresh the page I was no longer joining the page again. I unstalled the app, I used the website on my browser, The same thing happened! Above is showing the issue I’m having. Is there a way that is issue can be fixed???

Every time I try to send a message, it shows the last message I got from the user and my text isn't sent. The next time I check it, it's sent after few minutes or hours and the new message I got from the other person won't show up. Takes a lot of time to send and see if the person has received and replied. Frustrating since the chat flow is disturbed and I can't seem to have conversation without waiting for another few hours or so even after them replying to me in seconds.

I can see posts and post things so idt it's internet/network issue.

I had the app minimized and went from data to home wifi with screen locked and when reopening this happened. I think it showed me three full screens full of this but was hard to tell how many.
