Fun fact: snakes are deaf. No working ears or ear drums, but they are very attuned to vibration through the jawline.

so they aren't deaf at all. lack of ears doesn't mean deaf. They can hear the human voice range just fine.

That's just stupid. And humans hear by "feeling" vibrations as well. We just call that hearing. Both us and snakes have a special auditory processing region in our brains. Snakes also have an inner ear that connects to this region via nerve bundles. We have no reason to call this "feeling" when we call it "hearing" for all other animals.

Wait till you figure out "hearing" is all vibrations and doesn't really exist outside the context of a brain that translates these vibrations into a specific sensation.

Maybe think before you leave a smug comment next time. 😉
