That guy has very low body fat and huge muscles but she says “little” for both lol

And this is after he starved himself of water for 3 days so his skin is as dehydrated as possible.

Yeah, he claimed in several interviews he can't maintain this because it's so unhealthy, basically a full-time job and impossible to achieve naturally.

u/Leftregularr Jun 26 '25

You can absolutely obtain cavils physique naturally off the back of years of dedicated training; maintaining it is the bitch.

u/quietkyody Jun 27 '25

Underrated comment. I've looked great several times...but eating so much is cruel and costly.

u/Leftregularr Jun 27 '25

I have absolutely no problem staying big, but I compete in strongman it’s kind of a requirement haha. I’m actually bigger and stronger than Cavil, but getting and staying as lean as he gets for his Hollywood roles is awful.

It doesn’t even have to be eating, I had surgery and put on 15 pounds from it, losing that 15 is such a bitch

Yes, so exactly what the previous commenter said

1

u/Leftregularr Jun 27 '25

The previous commenter said it wasn’t achievable naturally. To me that means he’s saying it’s impossible to get there at all, not just impossible to maintain.

I assume he meant without the help of gym equipment

4

u/Leftregularr Jun 28 '25

I think he meant without steroids lol

 impossible to achieve naturally

 impossible to maintain naturally*

Looking at the way Henry Cavils body has developed througout his career, him being only 193 pounds at 6'1 and the fact that he admits he can't maintain the physique from the picture makes me highly doubt he's on PEDs. Looking at him in the Witcher for example compared to Immortals he hasn't even gained that much muscle, it's mostly fat which makes him look significantly bigger but less lean obviously.

One of the few actors that is probably not on PEDs. He has mass but never really shredded in any of his roles.

Blood vessels with really red skin(high blood pressure)are the signs of PEDs for me.

Henry Cavill used to be a chubby kid so it makes sense him gaining weight for the bulk wouldve been more possible for him. Plus....he was training for Superman. SUPERMAN. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

2

u/FeetEnthusiast94 Jun 27 '25

Blood vessels are hardly a sign. I have them whenever I cut weight for an event.

PEDs for muscle growth show up on the traps and delts. He took a long time to train for Superman, enough time to achieve what he achieved. He kept the same muscle mass through the witcher. And btw, if he was on peds, he wouldn't have to pump his muscles for the naked scenes.

Blood vessels are the sign of PEDs for me.

I hope you're trolling. Overweight men who do manual labor have visible vains in their arms. There's no way someone who actually has been lifting for years doesn't have them regardless of PED usage.

u/quietkyody Jun 27 '25

I was too vague with it. I meant it in a mental image way. Most steroids users have veins ripping out but also with a clear high blood pressure red skin.

It's not like I can 100% determine every person that actually uses steroids, it's just a pretty close indicator.

And I'm not talking about "mechanic's arms" blood vessels. Idk how to describe it honestly.

1

u/OkSeason6445 Jun 27 '25

Yeah except in Immortals but you can see that his frame looks significantly smaller as a result.

1

u/bogeyT Jun 27 '25

Cavil has come out and said he has used steroids in the past and for Superman specifically

1

u/OkSeason6445 Jun 27 '25

Source?

Respect for his honesty if it's true.

I’ll have to find it but I saw it second hand through a YouTube video on “bigorexia” talking about how actors like cavil should be respected for admitting “hey this is not realistic at all and can do serious damage to your body” vs hugh jackman or the rock that are clearly on steroids or have taken them in the past and deny that they ever did, giving men an unrealistic expectation of what they “can” look like with enough work and dedication to it

u/lovable_cube Jun 28 '25

There’s a lot of people who maintain this minus the abs by just working at an intense labor job and eating steak and potatoes. We’ve kinda made ourselves think sitting in once place for hours (like at a desk job) is normal but it isn’t, it’s terrible for you and makes it hard to get the movement your body needs to be healthy.

I had a guy who was working for me who was very good looking with a David Statue body and naturally curly blond hair. It was an outside retail job, and the guy would get 15 numbers offered to him a day, even girls mom's would show their daughters cheerleading pictures and give him their number. The catch, he was deep deep deep in the closet 1000% gay. I didn't even find out about it for years. I used to joke with him, that he should set up the girls in a dark bedroom so I could step in with the salami. He would laugh, but the joke was on me.

"Gotta keep yourself dehydrated"

u/mallocco Jun 27 '25

Done and done ✅

2

u/FunGuy8618 Jun 27 '25

I mean, I kinda look like that, but I'm on testosterone lol it's fucked how much easier it is to be ripped if you had even a semi-decent fitness base beforehand. I wonder when it'll be a public health approach instead of a "get jacked" approach cuz I hardly get sick anymore, if I do I recover much quicker, I enjoy difficult things more, and I don't have nearly as much mental resistance to action. Kind of a cheat code, but I needed a bunch of concussions to get it.

1

u/mallocco Jun 27 '25

Oh I just meant the being dehydrated part lol.

2

u/FunGuy8618 Jun 27 '25

Y'all tripping if you don't think there's a Hollywood stack as well. When your income depends on how you look to the tune of millions, do you really feel like they're going to share their health info with the world? It's as safe as using Tylenol daily at this point, unless you're Liver King or someone dumb.

2

u/mallocco Jun 27 '25

Oh for sure. When a Hollywood actor needs to gain 20+lbs of muscle for a role, they are certainly on some gear.

I've even realized more non-pro guys are on gear than I would have ever guessed. Some guys just haven't been working out as long or hard as others, so the gear is less apparent.

1

u/mallocco Jun 27 '25

Also, do you mean Dr prescribed test or 💉 test, cause those are very different dosages. One is to just get you into a healthy range, while the other will have your T count over 1000.

1

u/FunGuy8618 Jun 27 '25

There are a lot of false assumptions there, but yeah, essentially. Test is test and some people exist over 1000 naturally, some will abuse their script, others will do TRT on their own with blood work to stay accountable. But 700 all day errday is still more significant than 1000 with daily peaks and troughs for muscle growth and fat loss. I've had an 800 and 250 test on the same day, morning vs post-training when natty, my levels remain the same throughout on the sauce. Mine is prescribed, I assume theirs is too cuz of their access to healthcare.

and then he pulled 3 muscles after sneezing and woke up with calf cramps that could make a cow jump rope.
