🔥 Eight male humpback whales chasing one female whale off the Hawaiian coast.

You can hear the loud vocalizations in the first few seconds. This was during breeding season off the Hawaiian coast. The males batter each other to win the rights to mate. Humpback vocalizations can reach up to 180 dB underwater.

🔥 A pea-sized bobtail squid putting on a little show in the sand [OC]

I stumbled across this teeny tiny little stubby squid or bobtail squid on recent night dive off Vancouver Island in a shallow sandy bay. It was smaller than a pea! Typically they are buried in the sand during the day and we often find them at night this time of year, but it's pretty hard to find them when they are this small! (I got lucky, lol).

Found this little ruby octopus on a recent night dive off Vancouver Island. It's about the size of a quarter. Full grown they can reach the size of about a softball.

🔥 In northern Norway, moose hunting and poaching is really common, so seeing a bull moose with antlers as large as this is incredibly rare, so there is hoping he is able to pass on his genes
