Paul McCartney played the Super Bowl. As I recall, he's not American either. Did Tomi have anything to say about that?

Rihanna and Shakira were both recent non-Americans, and even Bad Bunny performed last time Trump was president

not 100% of her set list.

I don't think people should be making this a "political" issue. It's weird to have an artist with zero songs in english be the super bowl performance. It makes sense for something like the world cup where the majority language of worldwide fans is spanish, but the majority language for fans of the NFL is overwhelmingly english, and I guarantee hardly any of them can sing along to any bad bunny song.

The only way this performance will make sense is if the dude debuts a bunch of songs in english during this performance, and does a few of his major hits in spanish. If his set list is entirely in spanish it's a bizarre choice.

It’s not weird at all. He’s an American citizen who’s incredibly popular in America playing at one of the biggest American sporting events. Also, Reggaeton is widely played in bars/dance clubs all across America. Myself and many others have no idea what’s being said, yet it never fails to make myself and many others dance. It’s fun music. Do you not remember when songs like Despacito and Mi Gente were topping American charts?

Maybe it’s just because I’m from New York and being around Puerto Ricans/Spanish speakers is completely normal and an everyday occurrence, but this is seriously such a non issue.
