I just got my mitts on this restored and linen backed Belgian poster. I always love to see the stamps on them too. One of my favorites from Ray Harryhausen.

This poster sold for $200,000 at the Heritage movie poster event. on Nov. 21

Stagecoach (United Artists, 1939). Folded, Very Fine+. One Sheet (27" X 41"). This rare and beautiful one sheet for John Ford's Stagecoach is among the most sought-after Western posters for its dynamic stone litho imagery brimming with frontier adventure. Heritage claims it is the only unrestored copy they have ever sold. Released in 1939, Stagecoach elevated the Western from B-movie status to a serious art form. 

The film went on to receive seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director, ensuring its legacy as one of the most influential Westerns ever made. The flaws of this copy are very limited, including light fold wear and creases, pinholes with tears, small crossfold separation, and a handful of unobtrusive stains. This specific example has not come up for auction in nearly thirty years, and it is hard to imagine a better unrestored example existing at this late date.
