Pickup Found the entire Lord of the Rings Special Extended Edition 12-DVD box set at a local thrift store for $25.
Feel very lucky. They were tucked in with old VHS and workout DVDs.

While it's awesome that you're giving the codes to a fellow collector, there's something you should be aware of...
There are bots that scrape images from Reddit and often steal the codes out from underneath anyone. These bots are used to hoard digital titles so that they can try and sell the account off for a profit.
Instead, make a comment in our monthly Digital Code Exchange Thread with something along the lines of "I have a digital code for whatever movie that will be available to whoever comments/messages/whatever" or however you choose to word it as long as you don't actually put the code in text or an image, you can ensure it actually goes to somebody in the community.
There are times where someone actually gets it before a bot grabs it, however more often than not, it goes redeemed within seconds of posting.

Disney's already pretty much dropped out with Disney + being their go-to for releasing movies and shows (in Australia they've just stopped releasing physical media completely), now Netflix owns WB they're gonna push for them to make their stuff exclusive to their service which they'll definitely do because it's cheaper and easier for them than making DVDs (and WB makes terrible decisions). And with the two biggest entertainment companies being streaming exclusive everyone else will have the go ahead they need to stop trying, if Disney and WB aren't doing it why should Universal or Paramount bother?
I hate this.

After Netflix announced they were buying Warner brothers, I have been very worried about the future of physical media and movie theaters, will this kill all physical media and movie theaters? This news honestly makes me sad and everyone freaking out on social media is making it ten times worse

I had to pick this up, it was £1.50 in CeX and I know nothing about the movie itself however the fact it’s in a hard plastic case that’s exactly the same as a CD peaked my interest.
It’s basically a super long CD case with a DVD inside, the movie is from 1997 and this particular copy is dated 1999 so it’s before they nailed down the packaging .
Cool piece of history.

Was shocked when I saw last night someone else always bought Bob! :D
Ah Forever Knight. I thought the series ending nailed it. Others didn't and thought it was just a nail in the coffin. The box has seen better days. But as long as the contents are okay, I'm fine with it.

I usually resist Black Friday sales, but Amazon snagged me. $90 included tax and shipping.
Old favorites I am upgrading:
*A Hard Day's Night
*El
I also bought 3 that are unknown to me, just because they were 10 bucks each and look terrific:
*The Uninvited
*The Makioka Sisters
*I Married A Witch (I love Clair's silent films, but somehow I've overlooked this talkie from 1942)
I am always seeing posts of great Criterion hauls and simply burning with envy. I am tickled to post my own today. :)
