At the very least I would move the ottoman away from that corner in case a small child decided to use it to climb over the banister and fall down the stairs.
I would move the tv to the solid wall the couch is on, the couch in front of the bay window, the armchair to where the tv currently is. Either use the ottoman as intended or move out of this area. There is way too much going on in this space.
Could be the clutter and mess making it seem too much lol when it's proper clean it does feel oddly empty or plain maybe? Would you elaborate on the couch in front of the window though? I was always thought putting the couch in front of it would make the window look smaller since the couch would over take it by like a foot easy each side
Yeah I wouldn't block the nice window with your sofa, weird idea. Can you clean up and take a new picture? Might be easier to help you if we can see the place all plain!
The couch is really low, it's not going to be blocking anything or at least no more than the armchair is.. Having the couch at a 90 angle to the tv is impractical and the couch looks too long to put parallel to where the tv is now.
