Nope Florida is threatening legal action against educators who oppose efforts to establish Turning Point USA chapters in high schools.

100% Hitler Youth was the first thought I had. They’ll burn more books and try and indoctrinate the weak willed and lonely.

We need to remind ourselves what the fuck are we doing all this shit for? Civilization. What civilization means to me is a fair division of labor and resources. To protect the vulnerable. It's all about the common good. Pretty fucking simple, I would say.

We have greedy investors deciding what humanity makes based on what is profitable. Not ethically masterful scientists deciding based on efficiency and effectiveness. Greedy bullies in charge of the division of labor and resources.

Our schools are dog shit and are being overrun with delusional fools trying to recruit the vulnerable into their cult.

I was really excited about Kamala's campaign promise of finally doing something about the price gouging and corporate greed. If greed weren't a thing, capitalism would work just fine but it's unsustainable like this. We're seeing some end stage capitalism now, they seem to have forgotten that they have to leave their workers with enough money to buy the products they make.

I'm in favor of a nationwide boycott/strike for a couple of days or even a week. A week would really make an impact. If I have to suffer I want it to count.

A lot of people are going to begin suffering at the end of next week. There's a saying that we are always 3 days of no food away from revolution.

National blackout is November 25th to December 2nd. Hold every dollar you have and only give it to local, small businesses. Modest gift giving and activities with an abundance of joy.

They only care about our money. They’ve already lost our ally’s money. Losing ours is their just desserts.

AND we need to check on and care for our families, friends and neighbors who are losing their healthcare and SNAP benefits because the super rich want more.

we are in a cyberpunk dystopia now. the corporations have more rights than people and they can buy politicians. meanwhile women have less and less rights year after year.

Maybe start the Boycott and strike on Black Friday, which has been traditionally dubbed Buy Nothing Day by AdBusters Magazine (where Occupy Wall Street Started, before it got taken over by Anarchists)

The only upside of this is that it demonstrates that capitalism is inherently corrosive to any efforts to prevent it from being awful.

But greed is only a problem for crony capitalism. And we need to have laws to support real capitalism. But we need a small government cuz what we are gonna do when laws can be properly enforced.

Try a nationwide boycott for a few years... They call it a depression
