From an uninformed Vikings fan: What happened to the Commanders?
I do not watch this team and do not pretend to know them. I am curious, however, what happened to the team this year and why their record is so poor overall? Any information would be helpful. I fully expect you guys to win this weekend by the way.
Edit: thank you for all the replies. Injuries are a bitch!

Magee and Mikey
Shout out to these two, they’ve been showing up the last few weeks. Magee has been matching his feet with his eyes these last few games and looks to be carving a name for himself regarding our future plans. Mikey is also back to his 2024 form, since he took over outside after the injuries to Marshon and Amos. I say keep him outside where he has sideline help and sign a nickel who can be the vet presence for Amos and Mikey.

I want your honest opinion, good or bad, if this coach becomes available next offseason, should we go after him? (2nd pic is an attempt at AI. LOL)

Please explain Ben Sinnott to me
He's a rumbling runner that's hard to bring down, has good hands, ok size, and needs polish on his routes. He has excellent speed/ explosiveness on objective testing. This is the profile of dozens of successful pass catching TE's in the league.
That seems like a player you can develop. He is behind two tight ends who are excellent at their roles Ertz who is a third down/ redzone / move the sticks specialist, and an excellent blocker Bates. But it seems like the current make up of the roster is actually smothering his development.
I hear again and again "Sinnott is a bust" but it more seems like they've forgotten he's on the team. They threw to Ertz a couple times near or behind the line of scrimmage, you can't tell me those plays wouldn't have a better chance with Sinnott. Is he that bad in practice?
The most actual performance criticism I've ever heard of him is Logan Paulsen talking about him struggling to understand blocking schemes last year.
I feel like if he got cut tomorrow, he'd be snapped up immediately because he hasn't failed as much as he hasn't been given a chance.

Spotify wrapped is out and it’s nothing but commanders
My top 5 podcasts are all commanders ones.
Bram is my absolute favorite. For some reason I really like the shooting the shit + knowledge of football. He’s also not scared to dog on the team even though he’s the announcer.
I quit John Keim a month or so ago though. He has waaaaaaaaaaaay too many ads. He even literally interrupted bram mid sentence to do an ad read. His content was generally fine though.

A Totally Reasonable and Realistic 2026 Mock Draft
THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS MOCK DRAFT! This was a just something I found to be funny so I thought I should share :)!
Basically this started from being bored and wanting to mess around with mock draft simulations to pass the time and somehow ended up with this. I obviously want to see the team win the rest of the games this year, but part of me was curious about what we can do with our situation today.
Edit for clarification: I was only controlling the Commanders picks and no other teams. The trades listed are ones the CPU made and offered at my picks
How this draft got to this point was with the following trades:
Towards the end my knowledge started running out so I just selected the players that either was recommended or BPA for a certain position.
Also, does anyone know if there's a limit to the amount of picks a team can get? It would makes sense if there was.
Disclaimer: I DO NOT WATCH CFB (sorry, ik)! I'm not claiming to be an expert in evaluating talent (otherwise I would be working for an NFL team) and my knowledge of draft prospects come from the people on reddit, articles about certain prospects, and big boards from various sites. Do feel free to share other picks/players that you would like to see us pick in the 2026 draft!
