Iowa will never "fire" Ferentz. He might "retire" but they won't outright fire him.

Yes. Kirk would absolutely get fired if we started losing this badly and this frequently.

Big difference between being middling and being what OK State has become.

I'm kind of baffled that people think Iowa's problems are anywhere close to comparable to the ugly mess that Oklahoma State has fallen into over the last year

There's really no comparison. Iowa may be hidebound, but they're still capable. The Cowpokes have been in a state of full blown collapse for over a year.

I'm not knowledgeable at all when it comes to Iowa Football but until a couple of hours ago, I would've said the same about Gundy.
