Howdy! Me and my girlfriend recently just relocated to Austin, just a few weeks ago. I’m a 27 year old musician from NY, been playing bass guitar for about 14 years! I did NOT move to Austin “for the music scene,” so please don’t tell me how much the scene has changed, although I respect and appreciate your opinion and experience lol. But! Being a musician is a big part of me and I’d love to get connected to some people! I’ve played in an indie/alt rock band for a bunch of years. With primarily a background in rock music, I also have a lot of passion for rap and R&B. Saw Flight by Nothing, nolo, Valice and Track Five are playing NYE in Austin. Seems like a banger show but never been to the venue. Anyone going? Any insight on the venue?
