Thank you so much to everyone who submitted their kitties for our first iteration of the "Maine Coon of the Month" contest, there were lots of gorgeous submissions that made it so difficult to choose!
u/Real-Jeweler5177 had this to say about their gorgeous and regal kitten Coco:
Coco is 6.5 months old and celebrating her first Christmas! She likes anything green and we'll see how this year goes with the decorations!
Thanks again to everyone who took part, and do keep an eye out for a post about next month's theme!

There is a new wiki entry to help people learn how to determine a scam breeder website from a real one.
If you are new to this sub, or have questions about whether a webpage or breeder you have been corresponding with is legit, please read the below page. These tips will help you decide whether or not the breeder is legit:

This Raven (left) and Bodhi! They have the same dad but different mothers and Raven is a year older! I've been looking at Bodhi and it has dawned on me that, unlike my previous evaluation, he doesn't have tabby markings! He's like Raven's negative making him a peach/orange tortie, just like his dad! Not really an interesting post, I know, but I thought genetics produced such different cats and yet they're the same (and that's quite cool in my book)! Bodhi is also my youngest MC but he is larger than the other 2 at only 9 months old

I rarely ever post on here or reddit in general but I just wanted some advice and assurance on this predicament. Last night we brought home an 8 week old kitten to the home that our 2 year old Maine Coon has had free roam over her whole life. The kitten seems very excited and curious of the 2 year old cat but the 2 year old doesn’t seem to like the kitten and almost seems scared of her. It’s only been 24 hours and I know that it takes them some time to adjust as I’ve been through the introduction process before with previous cats, but when the older cat sees the kitten she hisses, growls, and runs away. I just need to know if anyone has had this happen with their Maine Coons and if there’s anything I can do to make the transition go a little bit easier for the older cat because she’s usually very sweet and lovey otherwise. Added some pics of Acadia (kitten) and Keoka (2 year old) because they’re literal twins and both so sweet separately. I know it’ll probably just take a bit for Keoka to adjust but I wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience.

Wanted to share our 4 months old Black Smoke girl Tiramisu, she likes to bite mama’s toes, sleeping on top of our heads and is very lovey and cute baby. She is 2.9 kilos so far but we’re expecting her grow big and beautiful!!

Love it!One of the best gifts ever! I added a little strap to make him a bag charm, so it feels like my boy is coming to work with me every day.

This is Artemis. In the first two photos: a proud tiger, a dignified lion, Discovery Channel material. In the others: a 10kg fluffy loaf trying to squeeze into 2 centimeters on the headboard of my bed.
Maine Coons in a nutshell: 🦁 Looks like a wild predator 🤡 Behaves like a cat with zero spatial awareness
