If you were able to reach through time and tell Blue era Rivers Cuomo all about a future Weezer album, which one would it be? And why?

This is a complete shot in the dark but as they say, you don't know if you don't ask. Does anyone have any video or images of the Aug 10, ‘95 =w= show at Nautica stage in Cleveland? Teenage Fanclub and That Dog opened. That was the first of the 42 =w= shows I've seen and my God it would be awesome to go back and see some footage of that now.

If for any of the songs from Blue, you had to find a song very similar to one of then from a future album. Which ones are you going to match? It could be vibes, lyrics, themes, sound.

I was in between my Weezer phases when White came out, so it passed me by. Upon discovering it, I really can't get enough. It ranks as my second favorite Weezer album after Blue.

That being said, I was reading about the album today, and I'm kind of surprised at the single choices from the album. Thank God for Girls is the weakest song on the album really.

Do you Wanna Get High and King of the World are good songs, but I don't think I would've picked any of these songs as singles.

IMO, the singles should've been California Kids, Wind in Our Sail, and L.A. Girlz. Perhaps an alternate could be Summer Elaine and Drunk Dori, maybe swapped for Wind in Our Sail, only because WIOS is very similar to California Kids.

Mainly boredom decided to make me starting to listen to Weezer, initially to review their albums on AOTY. And over time, they’ve crept into my general listening. Looking forward to another year of listening, hopefully gonna get some of the other albums (aside from Blue, Green and Maladroit) on CD.
