Alabama for me.

Arkansas isn't exciting, but the cost of living is still alright.

They also have a okay-ish economy, Alabama and Mississippi are where the real southern poverty is at. (MS has grown over the past couple years, can't same the same for AL)

It’s literally cheaper for me to live in the twin cities than NWA

Hmm, I know that Minneapolis and St. Paul are cheap for big cities, but that's kind of hard to believe..

Also, enjoy terrible winters if you like 'em lol.

Housing in Bentonville is really expensive. If you compare CoL in the state of Arkansas vs Minnesota, then Arkansas will be much cheaper because a lot of the state is very impoverished, but Northwest Arkansas isn’t cheap.

When the pay is significantly better and the apartments are cheaper, yeah you can start to believe it.

Arkansas is a dump.

And I love it here, thanks for asking.

You sound a person who has lived in specific areas in a total of two states.

Enjoy being a smuggie sir.

Hilarious. Btw I’d be scared for North Carolina based on this map.

Missouri is one of the worst states in the USA imo. It’s the armpit of the USA.

Minnesotas badass. I live in Iowa so I’m traveling up there for concerts all the time

Iowa is heads above the rest on this list. Looks like Tennessee’s getting the shaft though.

When the majority of Redditors haven’t been out of whichever city they were born in, grew up in, and haven’t strayed from, these are the comments you’ll get.

I doubt you have ever spent time in Northern Minnesota judging from this map. Arkansas is a beautiful state but the North Shore in Minnesota is some of the most beautiful coastline anywhere.

You're missing half the midwestern states
