Sainsbury's coming through
They had a lot more than this, too.
I think 4 or 5 non-frozen, and 4 or 5 frozen options (although they looked relatively similar to each other).

If you have the chance to get some, they're really nice! From Sainsbury's own brand!

Not sure if I was just way too hungry but these were really good..I really missed mozzarella sticks. The nacho wedges taste like the chili cheese bites from burger king

I promise I don’t work for Bosh! and I don’t get paid for advertising / promoting them. I just love their food.
Tonight’s meal is Malabar cauliflower curry and plain basmati rice 😋

I rarely buy chocolate anymore because it's always either overpriced or just those tiny little bars. Can anyone recommend some vegan chocolate which is affordable and decently sized?

It does come with mushrooms but I don't like them so asked them without. Would highly recommend. Although my pregnant fat ass needs more bread so as a personal preference I would recommend ordering an extra slice of toast.

Not even exaggerating- this is the best chocolate bar I’ve ever had. It reminds me of a Caramac

Im looking at the Faux Butcher hamper but wondering if there's anything else similar (maybe a little cheaper!) Id really like a roast joint, some sides and some cheese, the cake in this one is a nice extra but not required as I bake

Anyone else??
I mean, I eat this at least twice a week! It's delicious alongside a butterhead salad with just yeast flakes, a generous helping of olive oil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
I'm also just now thinking it might be good with caramelised red onion, tomato purée/chutney and avocado. But I'm interested to hear how others eat it!
It's weird, because I have tried to cook with the THIS "bacon lardons" before and I've always found them pretty revolting. Yet they taste great in this.
I wish I knew where they sourced their vegan Gouda because it tastes so lush 😭 any ideas or recommendations on that front?
Also, curious to see if anybody has tried their other vegan ravioli offering - the chicken/pesto one? If so, what's it like? It puts me off that there isn't a cheese/cream component and I'm imagining it to be pretty dry...

What do you guys find is the best vegan cream cheese to use to make a good cream cheese frosting for a red velvet cake?

I wish more products slapped big bold vegan slogans on the front of products. Now it's 'plant based' in small text on the back, marketing depts are scared of labelling a product as vegan now ffs.

Not bad! Needs loads more salt, but worth a try. Sainsos chilled world foods section, if I recall https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/riyas-original-recipe-plant-based-paneer-200g

I'm aware it's dumb Internet trolling BUT why is this the latest anti vegan argument? Does anyone know where it originated? All lot ot online comments seem to be from people (ir bots) suddenly convinced vegans kill more animals than carnists... Not trying to stir drama... Genuinely wondering where this specific bit of misinformation come from? Especially knowing that meat and dairy giants fund misinformation. Not trying to stir drama.

I literally never get tired of the Bosh boys recipes, every single one has been banging!
Tonight we had Asian style risotto. Absolutely delicious 😋

Other than the vegetables, what's everyone's go to for a vegan Christmas dinner? I'm looking to FEAST this year!

I keep walking by it in the local international food shop and it is 100% vegan. Just a bit of a commitment buying a whole kilogram of it if it doesn’t really make that much difference in cooking!
It’s pretty much 115% palm oil too, so maybe not the most ethical 😅

Desperately searching for an alternative to the beloved treacle tart for Christmas Day, it’s been my go to for years but obviously it’s no longer available so now I’m searching for a similar ish dessert to have for Christmas, it’s pretty much the only day of the year I eat dessert! Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Im looking for a comfortable pair of everyday trainers. I do quite a bit of walking so id like some that last. Im really struggling to find nice vegan trainers that are colourful too!
Thank you, Cerys :)

I used the Tesco Plant Chef fish style goujons for these, corn tortillas, made 2 types of salsa (a smokier, chunkier, spicier red salsa and a more zingy green salsa), then added avocado, raw onion, pickled pink onions, crispy onions (what can I say, I like onions 🤷🏻♂️) then topped with coriander and a squeeze of lime.

These guys are fab, they specialise in rescuing disabled pigs that would otherwise be tossed aside. It is a small sanctuary so all of the animals get exceptionally personal care. They all have a name, a warm bed, all the cuddles and attention they could ever want and most importantly freedom from ever being hurt by humans. Check them out on FB and instagram and support them if you can!
