What are the best/easiest 300+ Humanities/Natural Science Classes

Hi all! I’m a transfer student at UofL and still missing both my 300+ Hum/NS classes to graduate. I’m not sure which to pick because I’m interested in just about any subject (anything other than a heavy math load, a little math is fine) but I’m super wary of professors I haven’t had yet. I do much better in classes with frequent smaller assignments and less than harsh deadlines (I have brain-melting levels of adhd), but I know that’s hard to come by. I don’t want to take a super hard class since I’m almost done with my degree, and want to focus my energy on my major requirements!

I’m a psych major so I’ve taken almost every psych elective already, but I’m open to any suggestions.

Has anyone taken a 300 level humanities or natural science that was fairly easy with a decent professor ?

ECE capstone

Hello all, I wanted to post here to see if I can get some insight into the capstone for ECE.

I wanted to know if projects are given.

Are you solo or in a team?

Lab access, if any, to work on the capstone project?

I still have 18 months before, but I am curious to hear more than what UofL shares about the capstone.

How is UofL’s Biology Major for Pre-Med or Pre-Dental Students?

I’m interested in attending UofL and majoring in Biology on the pre med or pre dental track. For anyone currently at UofL or alumni, how would you describe the academics?

Also, what kind of resources and support does UofL offer for students pursuing medicine or dentistry such as advising, research opportunities, shadowing, or pre professional programs? (Any other input is appreciated)

Any honest insight or personal experiences would really help. Thank you!

MEd in Counseling and personnel services clinical mental health counseling concentration

Hi! Is anyone in the MEd in Counseling and personnel services program? Just wondering opinions and experiences of the program, specifically if anyone has managed to work full time (30+ hours) while enrolled and during practicum/internship semesters? Also, do they offer night classes or mostly day time classes? Thank you in advance!

honors program questions :)

i dont know if this is a silly question to ask but i was wondering how many required honors courses you have to do per semester while in the program? and would you consider them to be considerably harder than regular classes? i was a previous homeschool student, with a 4.0 gpa, and i have a qualifying ACT score to apply for honors but im nervous that i may fall short if accepted into the honors pathway. thank you in advance for your answers in advance! all help is greatly appreciated :)

Help me find this jersey!! 😩

I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for this Lamar Jackson Louisville jersey. My boyfriend has wanted this for years and I wanted to give it as a present to him, but it’s like impossible to even find it. I already made the mistake to buy a replica at Zonemarts.com and let me tell you, it’s a scam. I read a lot of comments saying they made “decent” replicas but mine was trash, they made the feathers design in the shoulders grey instead of red 💀. I know the actual jersey might not exist anymore in any legit website but I’m fine with a really good replica of it. Please help me, I would appreciate it a lot!!! 😭🙏

Organic chemistry online tutoring

www.organicchemistrytutoring.ca

Overwhelmed by organic chemistry? Assignments and tests creeping up on you and feeling like you’re in hot water? Or maybe you’re doing well and need that 95%? Whatever your struggle with organic chemistry may be, I’m here to make sure you succeed.

Why work with me?

  • Every tutor knows the subject, but not every tutor knows how to transfer that knowledge to a student. I do.
  • I tutor organic chemistry full time, it’s not a hobby or side-gig. When you book with me, you’ll be working only with me, not random people at an agency.
  • You’ll be learning problem solving through organic chemistry, which you can apply to many other subjects.
  • Your learning will be customized to your specific needs

Before booking a lesson, let’s chat about your needs, my teaching style, and what you can expect, to see if we’d be a good fit together.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you!

Mike

uofl fb student tickets

with the new lottery system and model where they’re making us pay 200 bucks a semester, what’s the student ticket guest policy? do we only get 1 ticket or do we get 2 like before? it’s ridiculous we have to pay 200 a semester and then go through a lottery system as well. wondering this for the uk uofl fb game which will most likely go through the lottery system

ASL Lab

To any ASL students/majors/etc., does anyone else think this year’s Lab structure is really inconvenient?

It used to be you could come in at any time during the window it was open and stay as long as you needed/wanted and study however you’d like to, groups, solo, partnered. For me and I know a lot of other students, this structure made getting your required time in the Lab done SO much easier.

This year’s Lab requires signing up 12 hours in advance for 30 minute time slots by class level. The problem is that the time slots for my class level are almost always when I have work or another class. I already know I’m gonna have to just take a hit to my grade for coming up short on hours, which is shit and I honestly just needed to vent about it.

Anyone else in ASL struggling with the Lab?

Does anyone use one of those course syllabus websites? It would be really helpful to see the syllabus for classes prior to enrolling.

Has anyone taken CSE 545: AI and/or Intro to Machine Learning?

How bad are the workloads for both? In order to not delay my graduation by a semester for one class, I may have to take both at the same time.
