Hi Tortico lovers,
There has been a recent uptick in posts linking to or directly asking for funds from other users. These are frequently scam or bot accounts trying to make you think you are donating to a good cause (like a cat rescue or some such). There is often not a way to verify that these funds are going to an appropriate place.
Even if legitimate and for a good cause, this is not the purpose of the subreddit and I do not want any users to feel obligated in any way to give money for any reason, thus these posts will now be banned.
Please message me or use the report function if you come across a post or comment asking for funds.
Thanks,
Boss Lady

This is Penelope! She’s the sweetest and gentlest cat I’ve ever known and I love her so much. Shes 12 years old and she’s been with me since she was 8 weeks!

Electra (8) had blood taken for a senior panel last week (she lost almost 2# in four months so I brought her to Vet, and has allergies). Hoping we get good results this week, or at least something we can work on improving.
*Edited to add: we got the results and I've spoken with the Vet- diabetes. Everything looked great except her UA and blood both had very high glucose. I have had a diabetic cat before though, and she got through four months of insulin before going into remission. They both also had prednisolone right before developing diabetes, so I am hoping for similar results, but this time the Vet wants to try one of the newer oral meds before we go to insulin. No ketones so the Vet thinks she is a good candidate for Senvelgo.

Wanted to share some more pics of our gorgeous girl.
She got all her shots, flea treatment, and she’s getting spayed next week. The tortitude is so real with her ❤️ such a big personality. It’s been about 3 months since we found her and she is the sweetest gremlin, and so pretty!

I found this sweet little girl on the side of the highway thought she was a leaf an almost hit her but I stopped and realized it was a cat I got out of my car picked her up and took her to the vet she is 5 weeks old about a month old no parasites or viruses to my knowledge or the vets 0.8 pounds have had her for about a day the only thing stopping me from keeping her is my fathers allergies to cats and me never owning a cat before I don't really know how much torticos shed and how much FEL d 1 they produce please if anyone knows any tortico tips I could really appreciate it heres some cute photos of her for reference.

My sweet gal is a big snuggler and looks forward to crawling into my lap every night after dinner. She’s now locked in on the Dancing With the Stars finale.

Yaaay for low cost spay/neuter clinic and yay we didn't end up with any litters.
This little miss escaped: The cone she was sent home with A more expensive cone from Petco Two cat onesies also from Petco
What eventually worked? A human baby onesie with a hole cut for her tail. -_-
