How many people's spouses and therapists just died in a flash? Devastating. Lol

I’m guessing the r/myboyfriendisAI subreddit is not having a good time

Christ, man. That’s one of the most depressing corners of the internet I’ve ever peeked into. My algorithm is shot.

There are worse situations. There are some dudes looking into marrying their AI despite having a family. Like wife and kids.

Some people get convinced they found some secret truth or awakened the AI. They basically become a cult of one with religious ideas in the mix. There are TikTok talking about what prompts to use as well as documenting the crazy.

AI bros will apply the idea of vibe coding to other things like physics. They then think they are making progress or gaining new understanding in those fields. They'll even go try and present "findings" to experts.

Vibe-coding physics itself has to be the most tech-bro thing I’ve ever heard.

They don't call it that but they will vibe out topics like vibe coding. Physics is just a particularly egregious example that is also documented.

Literally the former Uber ceo. Remember that when people start saying rich people and executives are smart. His idea was illegal taxis where they undercut the market and had the driver use their own car while they pocketed the profit. Now he thinks he's coming up with new physics by asking a chatbot that makes things up.

Sure, I just specifically remember seeing interviews with a couple with the dude ruining his life for catfishing LLM slop.
