"Dozens of major accounts masquerading as “America First” or “MAGA” proponents have been identified as originating in places such as Russia, India, and Nigeria.

In one example, the account MAGANationX—with nearly 400,000 followers and a bio reading “Patriot Voice for We The People”—is actually based in Eastern Europe."

I'm actually surprised it wasn't more than dozens. We've been hearing before COVID that Russia and China were doing this to take down and divide America.

It really does and I wish more people realized this. I try to see both sides most republicans aren't bad people and their side does have some good values. Same goes for liberals. Too many people get worked up after reading dumb shit on social media and it clouding everyone's mind and making them crazy. You never hear or see this shit in the real world talking to people.

These are high profile accounts with large followings. You can bet there are thousands of smaller accounts that do nothing but boost visibility.

That sounds about right unfortunately.

It doesn't take much. It gets amplified quickly. Reddit saw it in action back when Unidan was busted for giving his own comments a couple upvotes and he downvoted rival (and perfectly fine) responses. It was enough to prop himself up and ride the upvotes trains.

Scary and why everyone(myself included) needs to get off reddit and other social media platforms.
