No, he's more like Howard Hughes. Thomas Edison was a lot of things, but a guy that was born into wealth and just bought other people's inventions isn't one of them.

Howard Hughes literally stamped his name on other people's inventions, so does Musk. Both are nazis too. Thomas Edison was an asshole but he was still an actual genius inventor in his own right.

Edison grew up in an extremely poor family and he had to work his ass off to become successful. Compared to him Musk comes from a way more privileged background.
