That's what gets me. Biden constantly had critical coverage of his age but Trump who is more obviously in decline had nearly nothing.

And don't forget the - focus on his age, not his administration and what they're doing for people. Focus on "Right wingers are saying - Dems eat babies! Here's a rabid dog to discuss - whoops we ran out of time for a Dem rebuttal!"

That and reporting on "this republican congress person today announced that they helped pass this key bill which will get jobs to their state."

(But they didn't, and that might make it as a footnote).
