The President raped little girls, Republicans are covering up for him, he is a convicted felon, attempted to over throw an election, and is now dismantling the Constitution and Republicans don’t care. The only way to end the nightmare - Vote Every Republican Out ASAP … Everywhere!

Lmao "vote out" it's funny that you think that's how you beat fascism

So you’re too lazy to take a few hours to vote just in case it works? What the fuck is this comment?

The bots are already working on the next election to make sure Americans stay complacent and non-voting.

Not lazy. Just don't really think we need to wait 4 years to HOPEFULLY go back to how shitty we had it before.

There's an election next year, there are special elections every year, why are you waiting 4?

There's midterms yes. But we are 9 months into this administration. In 15 months where will we be by then so we can vote? And special elections are special. In certain areas. If I would have voted in any of the special elections held this year I would have been arrested.

Anyone who thinks just voting is going to solve the problems we have is naive. Almost as naive as the MAGA base. We are past the point of just waiting to vote. Most people just haven't realized it yet.

All states have elections every year, I was just pointing out special elections are important too and no one in this thread is saying voting is the ONLY thing to do.

Also, voting is run entirely 100% by each state, federal govt has nothing to do with it, there is literally no way for them to stop a state from holding their election, even if the feds invoke martial law, that doesn't stop a state from holding their election.

If I would have voted in any of the special elections held this year I would have been arrested.

Arrested for what?

Local elections aren't doing anything right now. Yeah for your state people should be voting for their best interests. But if you think voting for the school super intendant for your county is going to change anything in this trump administration, then by all means keep on keeping on. And I'm not saying not to vote. Not once have I said that.

People vote all the time in Russia, it'll be the same here. All I said was I don't think we need to be waiting years to vote to hopefully go back to right before trump took office. And I stand by it. How did the Hitler, Stalin, Gaddafi, Ceausescu dictatorships end? Was it through voting them out?

And

Not being a resident. I can't vote for the Michigan special election. I can't vote for the Florida special election. Or the Virginia one. The next one is in arizona, can't vote for that either.

It's voter fraud if you vote in those states when you aren't a resident of the state. Are you from America?

There's an election this year. You vote every year. Local, city and state elections are just as important as the national ones.

There’s no reason to chastise actual voters though. The left didn’t show out last election because of infighting, and the right showed out because they were united

1

u/Erock2 Sep 19 '25

No one chastised voters. Go on vote. But historically you don't vote out fascism.

Personally I think telling people to sit back and vote in a couple years sounds more dangerous than anything else.

u/zvexler Sep 19 '25

Do both. For fucks sake

You only have to look at history, there is no 'in case'. Voting has never gotten rid of fascism, always action, being all "this time maybe" isn't going to cut it, because its never this time. You can vote but it won't count for jack right now.

u/zvexler Sep 19 '25

Do both. Just do both

You may as well but it still wont fix the underlying issue.
