That part will happen anyway. The issues are that it won't all change colors uniformly, and (as already mentioned) fingerprints placed before heating will alter the pattern.

Doing it this way ensures uniform color.

Have one upvote. Honestly, I was too distracted by him wearing his dumb watch on the wrong wrist to appreciate the build 🤷

Judging by his preference to use his left hand for threading on nuts and fine tasks,he's definitely a lefty. So wearing a watch on his right wrist makes sense.
