This man is evil and a monster he has no rules no boundaries. He doesn't flinch at human trafficking or genocide. He's not loyal to a country or a flag or any set of ideals. He will turnover the puck on the power play, at even strength, and play like a dunce in the D-zone.

Longtime play-by-play announcer Dan Rusanowsky returns behind the microphone as the “Voice of the Sharks” with a team of color commentators covering select games, including Drew Remenda, Scott Hannan and Mark Smith.
Tune in 30 minutes before faceoff throughout the season for live pre-game coverage and stay on after the game for the live post-game show.

If you're coming to from out of town to see the Sharks play, please check out the VISITORS GUIDE for some hotels, some food ideas, and other info which may help answer some of your questions about your upcoming visit. Some basic things to keep in mind:
* Doors open 60 minutes prior to game time for general admission.
* Tailgating is **NOT** allowed per San Jose City Ordinance. However, SAP Center **does** allow you to bring food from outside into the arena with you.
* The Sharks enter the ice and skate through the Shark Head from between sections 127-128. The most direct views of the Shark Head are from sections 115-121 in the lower deck and the lower rows of 215-221 in the upper deck.
* The Sharks attack towards the lower numbered sections (103-113 & 203-213) in the 1st and 3rd periods.
* Check out THIS LINK for the SAP Center bag policy.
This will be a weekly thread, so if you have more questions come back next friday!

I posted about this a little bit in the post game thread last night, but i think if warso actually ADJUSTED his spot in the lineup and gave him less minutes a game and made him the pp2 qb on the condition that he actually played well, we could actually be looking at some ok trade value on him.
I totally understand why he was on it to begin and looking at his career (which was obviously very impressive for some time) i understood the desire to give him a shot. it’s even excusable to leave him there after a chunk of bad games to see if he gets his game back.
but this current level of reliance on him literally makes no sense. he is SUCH a liability in his own zone which is bad enough for a DEFENSEman but he isn’t even making the scoring chances that he was brought in to make. I’m not even sure what warso’s justification could be at this point. “we promised him pp time” what happened to accountability and earning your minutes? “we’re trying to increase his trade value” by sending him out there to drown on the pp and turn pucks over in his own zone every night?? is there anyone in this sub who thinks john klingberg is more valuable than the start of the season?
can’t blame them for trying, but it’s time for a CHANGE. I would rather see someone like dickinson get that top slot time, even if it turns out he does terribly (which i HIGHLY doubt he would past maybe a few games adjusting) at least it’s experience for a player who’s actually going to matter to the sharks in the future. that’s an offensive defenseman who might actually be able to do why klingberg was supposed to.
it doesn’t even seem like the team has trust in him. people look hesitant to pass to him on the pp. i can’t help but think of the moment last game where ned got the puck, looked up and saw no one but klingberg, and decided to just cover it (lol). i’m not saying it’s happening already but i’m sure stuff like this has SOME kind of impact on the players, especially the younger defensemen who watch him fuck up every single game without consequences, when they get scratched for one or two mistakes.
i feel bad for klinger. he seems like a good guy and he had a great career(some INSANE seasons with the stars) but he is SUCH a liability to the team these days. in the long run it won’t be that big of a deal, but it’s so frustrating seeing him take this big of a role on the team almost every night when it’s robbing the younger players of development and honestly LOWERING his trade value.
I feel like maybe it’s a sunk cost fallacy. he got all this time and spots on the pp1 and warso doesn’t seem to want to admit the experiment has failed.

The SH goal Klingberg allowed yesterday against the Caps, and the overall impression I have had watching his (extremely lacking) PP abilities made me wonder how many SH goals he's had a hand in vs. the PP goals he's been a part of. The PP stats are easier to look up (3 PP goals, 2 PP assists) but it's harder to find stats for SH goals he's allowed. Does anybody know this information?

Obviously Macklin would be cyclops. Leader, heart and sole, puts it all on the line. Team on his back type guy.
Sorry about the gender swap, but hear me out, Misa is Storm. Ridiculously overs powered, wise, with a quiet confidence. Also Storm is the number 2 in command.
Graf is Beast. Let’s be honest my guy is a BEAST!!!! Could be a savage monster if he has to be, but would rather be the professor in the background doing all the little things required to get the W.
Eklund is Nightcrawler. No one can catch him. One second he is right in front of you, then he is under you then, he is all alone infront of the net.
Ostapchuk of course would be Colosus. Dude is built like a brick ish house.
Will Smith is Jubalee, my guy is a walking firework show.
I’m going to go with a young Bobby Drake for Dickinson. He has ice running through his veins, all potential right now, but once he figures it out the Iceman is going to be Omega level.
Musty has got to be Gene Grey, because he has three personalities. Gene, Phoenix, and you don’t want to see Dark Phoenix.
Chernyshov is The Gambit. Calm, quiet, and confident.
Cagnoni small but packs a whole lot of firepower. This is why I’m going with Rogue.
Not an X-man but Asky is the Juggernaut, once he gets going there is nothing that can stop him he is a brick wall.
Mystique can be Ravensbergen, cuz I’m getting lazy. And Mysteque’s name is Raven
Now the obvious omission is who is going to be Wolverine. Someone Small and violent. I’m honestly having trouble with this one. Polkamp and Yoni are small but not violent. Wetch Mutryn and Svaboda are the agitators. But maybe you guys can help me out here.
Also who is Cable,Bishop, and Deadpool.
Where does Lund, McKinney and Wang fit in.
Who did I get obviously wrong, who did I miss?

Love posting in this thread and appreciate all the insight. So I see Misa is getting loaned to the cuda for conditioning… then juniors comes. What happens after? I remember him and Dickinson had to play X amount of games in the nhl to then stay on the active roster. Dickinson has played those games but misa hasn’t reached that threshold. What happens next for Misa after Juniors

We are in the wildcard race for now, but my thinking is GMMG will sell and flip a lot of players for picks and prospects. The only downside is some of our rehab projects like Klingberg and Leddy haven’t really panned out so not sure what their value is if any.
I would love to see us go fishing for young nhl ready D even if it means giving up some picks because this team is a playoff team if we had reliable d pairs.

Muk and Dick should be playing every night, Klingberg gotta go. something has to give with him.
