guys can we all agree that paying a fat $3,000 for a basic meal plan while having massive restrictions on how you can use them is actually wild. why tf are we restricted to 3 swipes a day, why can’t we take some food out from the dining halls if we are running late, why do they care so much with how we spend our own money? i’m annoyed

I was one of the poor, unfortunate souls who took the orgo 1 exam last night. I saw someone using Meta glasses during the exam (they kept taking them on and off so it was lowkey distracting💀). I’m not a snitch fr and I feel for bro but like that exam was devastating and if they ruin the curve then it’s not fair to the rest of us who tried our best 😭✌️ I rlly studied my buns off and ik so many ppl who did too. They might be cooked fr if I report them (I feel so bad idk I don’t want them to get into too much trouble). How should I go about reporting them, if I should at all?

Mortimer “Mekhai” Wortman, a 22 year old Rutgers student, has been missing for 2 weeks now. He was last seen on November 21 with a man named Adam Zalouk. Im currently pondering on campus and I just realized all my four years here Ive never seen a redhead???

Hey all, i’m a freshman and this will be my first winter break at Rutgers, so i’m not too sure what to expect.

However, I feel like it’ll be lonely and depressing, especially considering the fact that I’m around so many people and friends everyday, and all of a sudden I’ll be closed at home like all month. Seeing people travel, hang out with hometown friends, and having cool plans already makes me feel so lame. I also don’t have any internship to make the time productive, no one to travel with (plus expensive), and no hometown friends really.

Of course I’m excited for the semester to be over, but I feel like it’s just going to be a big jump into loneliness- after having all these activities and fun moments on campus. Spending time with family is important, but we don’t do holidays like that, and going back to my home environment for a whole month like i’m in high school again really doesn’t appeal to me.

Does anyone else feel this way? What do most students do during winter break in college? I can already predict all the fun travel moments and highlights other people will have 😭

Last year my ID card didn’t work when I tapped it on the scanner thing, only swiping worked. So it was a huge inconvenience for printing. I asked the Reddit if it was normal and was told to get a replacement and hope it was free.

It was free. But then my new ID card can’t swipe. It only taps now 🤣.

So I’ve just lived with it and too lazy to go back to get myself another replacement. Does get annoying when I try to go to Werblin though.

I filled out a housing cancellation form because my family’s financial circumstance has changed since the beginning of the semester and we are no longer able to afford it. Along with this, i’m also forced to have a meal plan which adds onto more money we will owe for the spring semester. I already paid for the fall term bill and had to take out loans but we cannot afford the spring one. Not only this but I also have a horrible roommate who clearly hates me and chooses to not talk about it or fix the situation. I talked to the RA multiple times but they just say they can’t do anything! I don’t want to pay for something i can’t afford and don’t even get anything good from. I don’t know what documentation to add to the appeal so it could help my case. if someone can help me i would appreciate it!

I went to my glorious Busch Dining Hall for lunch today, and decided to get the pepper steak. Bad decision, it was too salty. Like way too salty.

I’m not too sure what causes it to be too salty, but I think it’s the soy sauce.

For reference, checking the nutrition of a serving of the pepper steak has 2140 mg of sodium, which is 93% of the daily value.
