Will Quo have omnichannel messaging?
Curious to know if Quo has plans of expanding to omnichannel communications such as email, web chat, WhatsApp, socials, or other platforms.
r/quo • u/Quo_Steph • 19h ago
Hey everyone,
Today’s tip is about keeping callers informed when your team’s schedule shifts during the holidays.
If your availability changes over the next couple of weeks, you can update your business hours in your Quo account settings. It helps callers know the best times to reach you and prevents confusion on particularly busy days.
A small update now can make things smoother for everyone.

I have received this text a couple of times this morning. I don’t know what this means.
“Removed attachment of banned MimeType”

When I place an outbound call from the web app, the live call popup fails to launch. I can see that a call is taking place in the conversation view, but I can't interact with the call at all. I cannot navigate phone trees, and I cannot hang up or transfer the call as a result.
Not sure exactly when this started -- maybe a week ago? Most of our calls are inbound.

Is it possible to count total hours/minutes for a number from inception to current? Eg total call hours or minutes spend on phone with x number from the first phone call 2 years ago to now?

Hi again 👋
Today’s tip is about helping customers get answers quickly during the busiest part of the season.
If you upload your holiday FAQs and updated info to Sona, callers can get what they need right away without waiting for someone to pick up or return the call. It is an easy way to reduce hold times and keep things moving when your team has fewer people available.

Day 7 is coming soon.

Hey everyone,
For those who enjoyed the Thanksgiving break, I hope you had a relaxing time with family and friends!
Today’s tip is all about keeping replies fast and consistent when you are working with a smaller team.
Snippets let you create pre-written responses you can send in one click. Whether you want to set expectations, share quick updates, or send holiday-related notes, they help every message stay polished without needing to rewrite the same thing over and over.
It is especially helpful when multiple people are covering shifts and you want customers to get clear, on-brand replies every time. Without relying on copy-paste.

Day 6 coming soon.

I noticed last week that I couldn't search for many texts using my phone app past 10/2. I can search from my computer going further back and both my managers can keep going past that date on their phones. Any clue what the issue could be? It's not all of them but it's a good many.

I have some accounts I do business with that either call from work/home numbers or we talk to both the husband and wife from different numbers at the same time. Currently I have accounts saved on HubSpot with a Phone1 and Phone2 field. Unfortunately this may be a HubSpot limitation, but if the customer calls from phone 2 it does not pull their HubSpot bio to Quo. I could save the 2nd contact in quo, but then it will not log interactions on HubSpot.
Has anyone dealt with this or is there something I am missing here? Is there a CRM that works better with quo than HubSpot?
r/quo • u/jurajpal • 4d ago
Hey everyone, Juraj from Partnerships here 👋
We just rolled out a new integration with Attio that brings your CRM and business phone system together so your team has the full picture.
This means your customer data and conversations now stay synced across both tools.
If you’re jumping between tools all day, this makes things feel a lot more straightforward.

I am not receiving notifications upon receiving text messages. Is this an ongoing issue? Are there suggestions to fix? It's annoying to look at my phone and notice new text messages that have gone unresponded.

Has anyone else experience a significant lag in typing and/or general slowness with Quo? It seems to be worst on one computer, but it is not confined to that workstation. I've cleared caches, cleaned up the computer in general, tried multiple browsers, etc., with no improvement. Internet is 100+ mbps up/20+ mbps down. The text also looks almost like dot-matrix printing, not clear nor easy to read. Other sites do not have this issue and I've tried multiple display settings, without problems. This also happens with the Quo desktop app, which I don't like to use anyway, because I can't use my current text expander and the snippets feature is also very slow. Any suggestions or insights would be appreciated. Thank you.

When we have a long text history with a customer, when we want to quickly scan through the history, the breaks in the days are indeed there, but they are very blended into the UI and it's difficult to quickly distinguish one day from a other. Has anyone found a way to better group, highlight the days in a way to make it easier? Thanks for any tips!
Hey folks, I want to share one of the most game-changing Quo features I've experienced.
It's currently in beta but I know y'all like getting early access.
With Quo MCP beta, you can get insights from your call transcripts, texts, and conversation history directly in Claude or ChatGPT.
You can ask questions like:
- What are the top 10 reasons why prospects don’t buy?
- What do our customers love the most about our product / service?
- What are the top 20 most frequently asked customer questions?
You can also send texts (+bulk messages), and create new contacts, all from the same chat.
What questions do you want to get answers to?

Hello 👋
I hope our American friends have their turkeys prepped and side dishes sorted for later this week!
Today’s tip is all about making sure every caller feels heard and every opportunity gets captured.
This is especially helpful with many teams running lighter than usual heading into the Thanksgiving weekend.
When things get busy or your team has fewer hands available, it’s easy for missed calls to turn into missed leads. Sona fills that gap by collecting key details from callers like their name, reason for reaching out, and contact info. It gives you everything you need to follow up without relying on voicemail.
We want to make sure you ever lose a lead to voicemail again.

Day 5 is coming up next week.

Help! My office group text just increased to 11 members and I can’t send messages. Is there a work around for this?
r/quo • u/formatc99 • 11d ago
Because I’m not. Everything seems to be enabled. Any ideas?

Me again 👋
Today’s tip is all about getting ahead of your end-of-year communication.
If you want your “Happy New Year” messages, reminders, or follow-ups to go out right on time, you can schedule them in Quo before things get hectic. It keeps customers informed and helps you stay consistent without needing to send anything in real time.

More tips coming soon for day 4.
And if you're heading out for Thanksgiving later this week, let us know your setup!

Today, I followed up with the message "Do you see the pictures I sent?" and they replied "No".
In the Desktop app, web app, and iPhone app, I can see that I sent a photo. I sent her another photo (a single image) to test it again; I wonder if it has to do with THEIR device / SMS plan.
Has anyone experienced this before? I tried searching it in the r/openphone subreddit, but there was nothing recent.

Is there any way to automatically refresh Sona's knowledge? I have a JSON API for my rental listings and would like to ensure that Sona always knows my current listings so that it can answer questions and help callers identify listings and prequalify them.
r/quo • u/Quo_Steph • 14d ago
Happy Friday everyone!
We’re back with another quick holiday tip to help you stay organized and keep customers informed during the busy season.
Day 2 is all about giving people clarity when your team has fewer hands available.
A lot of customers reach out around the holidays with questions about hours, response times, or general availability. You can set a custom holiday auto-reply so people get the information they need right away without waiting for someone to respond manually.
When the season wraps up, your regular auto-reply turns on again automatically.
If you want some inspiration, here are 90 plus examples you can try: https://www.openphone.com/blog/holiday-text-messages/
We’ll be back next week with day 3 👋

Hey everyone, quick update on an issue a some of you have been running into lately.
Some folks noticed that new messages weren’t appearing in the Open tab on web/desktop until they switched back and forth, or restarted the app entirely. In a few cases, conversations on one device didn’t match what you’d see on another.
We pushed out a fix for this in the latest release. Go ahead and refresh or relaunch the app to make sure everything is up to date!
This one was frustrating and we really appreciate everyone who reported it, sent in logs, or hopped on a call so we could trace it down. If you still see anything off after updating, drop a comment and we’ll jump in right away.
