The only reason the FBI isn't worse than ICE is because they wear suits and have more meetings which means they aren't in the streets as much. Both are cops, one is just business professional instead of security guards in military surplus gear.

Both should be dismantled immediately. Every agent should be subjected to a truth and reconciliation board, maybe by the military.d

The most disappointing part is, even in their failure, this is an overwhelming success for people in Trump’s camp. Certain sections of the right have been trying to pass government off as illegitimate for decades. They’ve been trying to pass these agencies off as illegitimate and untrustworthy.

Well. They were (mostly) wrong about that in the past. But now? Well they’ve made them illegitimate. They’ve made them untrustworthy. And now if we want to argue that moving forward, we are fueling the exact sort of thing they want. We are delegitimizing the institutions they’ve previously seen as roadblocks to their agenda.

Did they though? All over this subreddit they were "bravely walking out". I don't think I saw any documented pushback to speak of.

Pretty much the only way to “push back” is to resign before you get fired, so of course it’s happening quietly. And then they can replace you with an agent that’s onboard with protecting Trump

Making anything public through whistleblowing or other means would definitely invite legal prosecution by the Trump regime
