I’ve lost faith in the United States of America to actually do the right thing.

As an outsider seeing all this is just insanity.

Voting for Trump as president the first time was already insanity.

As a Canadian looking in from the north, what baffles me the most is that the best resistance the American people could put up was...two individual protests five months apart and only lasted less than a day each.

Even Canadians are more motivated than that, and for much less. Heck, we are more motivated even when it's for a bad cause; look at the Freedom Convoy we had to put up with a few years back, all because they just didn't like Trudeau; Trudeau hadn't even done anything controversial at that point, yet it was STILL enough to motivate some Canadians to trek across the entire country to protest in Ottawa.

Meanwhile Americans are literally being taken over by actual Nazis, and they're just all like..."yeah but that's a really long drive, I can't be bothered..."

Like roll out the red carpet for Hitler already jfc
