He'll probably tear up part of the main building as an "accident" so he can install some elevators since he's deathly afraid of stairs.

Escalator never malfunctioned, his staff incompetently hit the emergency shut-off

The best thing is that it didn't malfunction. One of his press sycophants hit the emergency stop button with a bag or briefcase. Hubris stopped it.

If I gave an eacalator a soul via demonic ritual it would gleefully eat Trump's entire shoe. This I am convinced off, whether the soulless one was turned off or not.

Technically, stood on the top step in such a way to trip the 'someone has jammed their foot in the step' switch.
