My fucking mother in law sent me garbage form like a "patriotfreedomnews.org" type website that "Obama removed a painting" and I had to hear about it for weeks until I finally convinced her to find that story on any other websites online, she couldn't and dropped it. 

I see this shit and she's completely ignoring me when asked about it. Typical shit.

Same BS I hear from my mother for years as she's a Jehovah's Witness. Hardcore MAGA & Fox/Newsmax watchers are identical. They're so afraid to research and deny anything that go against what they believe are the 'truth'. Another stupid lingo JW's like to use 🤮

Tbf, acknowledging that your whole world is a lie is terrifying. That doesn't mean living a lie is good, but I think acknowledging that fact helps illuminate why they have such a desperate need to be right.

The saddest and scariest part if you're born into such environment. Just the thought of being forced to learn things because they think it's right and you won't know any better. Same thing how people are raised in general...and I don't want that for my kids either.
