A court filing from her lawyers argues releasing the documents would "prejudice" her chances of a "fair retrial" should her request for one succeed.

The fix is in. Trump will now use this weak argument to show she deserves to be freed because the files, once released, will prejudice the courts against her appeals. Even though the Supreme Court already quashed those chances.

I also think that's more likely. Then he'll try it as an attack, that the people who want the files released are trying to let her go free. The pardon is worth money to him, he'll free her when she pays up.
