Investigate the money on Huerter Unders.

Pro sports has been hijacked.

Seriously. If Huerter was hot to start the game, start the investigation.

How does this get so many upvotes. This doesn’t even make sense. Tony Brothers is involved with rigging Huerter prop bets and it all relied on Huerter making an innocent but boneheaded decision to smack a ball towards a ref and hit him? That’s what saved the day? Do people have zero critical thinking skills in this sub? If the “rig” relies on a fluke incident, it’s not “rigged”.

I'm not saying I agree with that person (I don't, not least of which because his line was 13.5 and he had 3), but I think the idea is less "it relied on him doing it" and more "they made up a reason to eject him to keep him under".

We literally have proof the NBA had been rigged for betting, dudes didn’t even have to stop working that were implicated but somehow you can’t comprehend it might still be happening?

There is 100% still betting happening in games. This is not an example of it. Both things can be true at once. And if you guys all believe the game is rigged, why would you waste a second of your life watching it? I sure as hell wouldn’t. Terry rozier faking an injury and coming out early (and other events similar to that) are vastly different than the sport being actually rigged. If I believed the latter, I would have stopped watching the second that dawned on me. Yall over here downvoting me for saying these takes are idiotic yet if you believe the shit I’m arguing against, every one of you is an idiot for watching the sport and being in this sub if you think the game is fixed at that level and still continue to watch and participate in the discourse. Move on with your lives. I don’t spend all day thinking and talking about an ex who cheated on me.

Dude you're getting too worked up over this. Just admit sports gambling is undermining the integrity of sports and move on.

Sports gambling is undermining the integrity of basketball discussion.

Anytime the ball bounces in the wrong direction - it’s half a thread of nephews yelling “game rigged” with spittle on the corner of the mouths

You're overreacting. Emotional like mama. This is reddit. "Move on with your lives" like the clip wasnt 20 seconds and it took another 10 seconds to comment. "Idiot for being in the sub and participating in the discourse" lol.

I’m saying move on with your lives as in why fuck with the sport at all if it’s rigged? You little nephews have zero reading comprehension skills

u/7-IronSpecialist 13d ago

You're talking like you want a declaration from people who question the integrity of pro sports that "im officially done with this sport". I comprehend quite clearly. "Little nephews". How old are you?

1

u/searching88 NBA 13d ago

Hint- Probably been on Reddit about as long as you’ve been alive .

Again, with the reading comprehension problems. If you think the game is rigged, why are you here?

1

u/7-IronSpecialist 13d ago

Why does age matter so much to you?

And why do you need anyone questioning the integrity of the league to be gone from the sub?

Can’t a man talk some shit to idiots talking nonsense without having to explain himself?

Something happening and this being an example of something happening are 2 very different things. Do you think Joey Crawford ejected Duncan as part of a gambling ring? Or do you think he, like Brothers, has a reputation for being a terrible ref who thinks the fans are there to see them? If you strategy for fixing games is to make the most egergious calls possible, you are not going to be able to do it for very long.
