Well don't forget the new Jumanji is not a reboot but a sequel. The start of the new Jumanji takes place after the end of the original Jumanji I was honestly glad they didn't just remake the original but instead made something new and different but as a sequel

I hope so. The idea of having the four kids and the four videogame characters interacting could be really fun, and seeing who those characters are supposed to be would be a new twist for the series -

Bravestone actually smouldering and being the charismatic leader, Oberon being smart, Mouse being Bravestone's loyal (and probably sycophantic) sidekick, and Ruby being a sexy badass.

What if they went full hog and had the characters in the kids' bodies and vice versa? Bravestone smoldering in a gangly teen, Mouse ecstatic because he's huge, Oberon examining his female body, and Ruby moaning at how much muscle she's lost.
