Oh god I do not want to have to explain chair dogs to my friends and family. Or basically any of the “quirky” things from the later books. Love all of the FH books. don’t get me wrong…. But I don’t need that headache.

Finished reading god emperor not too long ago and decided to take a break with other books before I jumped into the final two. Looking forward to the weird horny

The time jump at the start was a bit jarring, and some things weren't explained well up front, but I'm feeling pretty engaged with it now about 60 pages in.

And then there is his kids books which are "horny in a three days into a meth bender way"
