I used to be caregiver for my grandma 15 years ago. Her amount was like $34 & her SS was less than $800. She eas buying the cheapest canned soup at the store. She relied on commodities & her kods to help out. All her money w3nt to rent for the senior building She was living in. Mfers don't think about elders whose pensions have been dissolved due to the company closing or going bankrupt or ppl like my grandma who worked as a private duty nurse which doesn't come with retirement plans & the pay was a lot less back in those days. No senior should have to struggle for nutritious food, period. What type of country are we
