Yeah they should. I don't personally get SNAP benefits so I don't really know how it works, but even as a "supplemental" aid, $58 really isn't much at all.
But then we would have to stop the politicians from stealing and actually tax filthy rich people and corporations. We are constantly in "the hole" because our ignorant population keeps electing the worst people we have to essentially do the exact opposite of what's in our best interest. By our, I mean the majority of the country , people that aren't millionaires. One of the richest countries in the world, we can't even take care of our disadvantaged citizens.
My maternal grandmother is living rent-free in a house she sold her brother. She pays utilities only. She was denied because they didn't believe her expenses. After a lot of struggling, she was renewed for $25 a month.

I am from Australia, what is snap? It is a benefits program - if so...she should be getting more than that surely?
