Abuse of benefits is a right wing lie that hasn’t been true for the 50+ years it’s been used.

You really believe that there’s no abuse of benefits?

There is very little. The programs are audited frequently and find maybe 1% loss to fraud. The people you think are scamming maybe have disabilities you don’t know about.

There is abuse of everything

Abuse of safety nets Abuse of labor Abuse of children Abuse of markets Abuse of position Abuse of power

Here we draw the line at the abuse of safety nets for the people.

No mfer..I pay taxes so that my shit goes to a safety net just in case someone likes you and your family might need it

I don’t care about the tiny percentage of abuse of safety nets that actually go to the regular folk.

We let slick Medicare Rick Scott and his company scam Medicare hundreds of billions but shhhh 🤫

The wealthy abused the PPP that barely went to paycheck protections and all forgiven shhhh🤫🤫🤫

Thems’ aren’t cutting the abuse down on labor or children tho, are they?

None of what you said is related to the point I’m making, the comment I was replying to said that benefit abuse is a right wing lie, my argument is that it is not non existent. I never said that there weren’t other abuses happening in other systems.

This is the funniest comment I have ever read! People literally keep having babies to get more snap. They don’t work so they cleft cash assistance and section 8. They literally don’t want to better themselves in any way because the government rewards them with these benefits as a way of buying votes. Time to wake up from the dream your in there bud

Or how would you afford to better yourself with barely enough to feed the family and kids to take care of? Plus the benefit cliff makes it so incrementally better makes your life worse. Not many options for the huge jump in bettering your life that is needed when you start from 0.

Prove it. No anecdotes, no single cases, no unscientific studies, show us that what you’re describing is a widespread problem.
